I did purchase the optional keyboard and am happy that I did as it keeps the screen covered and allows it to be used more like laptop. The touch screen is fantastic and I have yet to find anything that I can not do on this device. My fiance was skeptical but she loves it as well and we use it all the time. I find that I dont even use my macbook pro anymore now that I have this.

Microsoft and other tools interact well. Pen and mouse (wireless with USB) work well. Wish they had 1 more USB port!

Perfect for college, it's the perfect size to fit on desks as well as converts to a tablet to manually write down notes. The pen is very nice and smooth. I recommend this to anyone starting school, running a business or just needs a new computer. Only issue I ever face is with my airpods connecting to it.

Previously, I always had Apple products and it was a tough decision to make the transition. But once I learned that it was a versatile PC/Tablet, I was sold. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I’m so glad I chose the Surface Pro because it was more compatible with programs and portals that I need for school.
