I bought this surface pro 6 primarily for class. I researched extensively on note taking apps for tablets and decided that an android/ipad wouldnt be enough. The surface pro was able to take the place of both a tablet and laptop. OneNote is amazing for importing lecture slides and annotating directly on instead of printing everything.

I love this computer just because it’s so compact and fast. When I need to get things done. It’s the computer I use for personal and business use.

Great for traveling for business. Much easier and lighter than bulky laptop and just as powerful. Definitely get the keyboard attachment.

The flexibility of this tablet is great. Windows as a touch screen interface could be better but I got the i5 version and have seen no issues. It is fanless so it stays quiet. Would recommend for a student or a business professional. Probably not ideal for photo or video editor or someone that needs a lot of power.

I already owned the original Microsoft Surface Pro which still work great. Had a use for that in another project and thought it might be a good time to upgrade so got the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 which has been great. It does everything I wanted it to do and more. Light and extremely portable. Very pleased with this purchase

Very fast. Lots of storage. Meets or exceeds all of my needs. When traveling by plane it is considered a laptop, with the keyboard attached. However, if you remove the keyboard, when asked to put away laptops, it is considered a tablet and is permissible to use during takeoff and during all points from takeoff to landing.

I gave this item a 4 star because it is a good product. However, I returned it due to realization that I basically bought a laptop in a tablet format. It wold be different if it was strictly tablet OS, but it was full Windows OS so I decided to just get one of those laptops that you can also use as a tablet with touch screen and all. Heavier being a laptop, but more flexible in its purpose. Up to you if you want a tablet format but buying a keyboard and other peripherals would make it the most expensive laptop in this class.

I bought the surface pro, keyboard and the pen for my girlfriend who is constantly telling me how much she loves it. She utilizes it for work and says it is easier than any other laptop she has had and does way more. Easy to design and create newsletters and flyers, user friendly and great resolution.

I loved this when I first purchased it. But as time goes on, I find it harder to find the settings when they change themselves. The touch screen idea is great but the pen and screen don’t usually align with each other. So many times I give up if small detail is needed with the pen. It’s been reliable, except for the issues with setting it to not move with my hand in tablet mode, but it does anyway. Small issues like that. I would not buy another one.

Surface Pro 6 is a good Windows tablet for general use. It's not a high-end gaming machine, but it handles most other tasks just fine. If you're going to be transporting it around, you will need a cover. Also an expansion port is generally needed if you're going to plug in more than one peripheral. The touch-screen is responsive, but writing on it is not as precise as it is with the Apple Pen on the iPad. No USB-C, and you will need an adapter if you want to use an external monitor.
