Quite a bit faster and big boost due to the 8gb memory. Another nice thing about the Surface is it does not come with any bloatware programs. Very quick setup. Don't be fooled by their size. This Surface can handle everything. I use it daily along with my work computer. Would not be without it. Great price and outstanding customer service at the Carmel Mountain store. A special thanks to Cedric for his assistance with my trade in and purchase.

The Surface pro is also a premium product that it’s main focus is portability. At first it takes some time getting used to the keyboard with the stand. Don’t even try to balance it on your lap. Now this is not going to replace your laptop or desktop. It’s a portable device for minimal work with occasional entertainment. Great for traveling or basic quick jobs on the go. It is a little expensive for what it is but you can find specials at great prices.

I can get the job done quickly and efficiently using all Google apps, add a bluetooth mouse for easier use, and browse as I need to. It's extremely portable but fragile. I suggest getting a back and screen protector just in case.

Happy but could be a 5 star review

Since we are already spending nearly $1000 for the tablet and an additional $150 for a keyboard, not having to purchase a Windows 10 Pro version for $100 would have been great.

I have had this computer for over 6 months. the screen bleeds through and it glitches a lot. the mouse freezes on me frequently. Touch screen can also be unresponsive at times. It also freaks out when I use the USB port to charge my phone-says that it's not strong enough to support my device. Definitely not what I expected from a $800 Microsoft computer.

Now after just a little over 2 years I can not use the tablet unless it is plugged in and the type cover keyboard no longer works. I went to Geek Squad and tried to have it resolved. The technician said there was nothing they could do about the battery as this happens often after a couple of years and since it's so compact there's no way to replace it. He tried to fix the keyboard cover and it worked again for about one minute but then stopped. After, I called Microsoft support and spoke to three different it support specialists and they tried multiple things to try and reconnect the keyboard but none worked. One was supposed to call me back yesterday so that I could reset my whole computer and erased all my files in hopes that that would work and low and behold she never did. Before this computer I had an Apple Macbook for 10 years and the only reason I don't have it any longer is because it was stolen. I would NEVER recommend someone buying a surface unless they want to or have the funds to buy new computer every 2 years. This is ridiculous. And now Microsoft is saying that my only option is to purchase a new computer or purchased the warranty for $450. Both of which are unfair to me as I bought this tablet with the intention of it working for a long period of time.
