This is a great "2-in-1" laptop, so far it can do everything a real laptop can do & it can be a tablet. I bought a Lenovo yoga, 2 years ago but being able to fully detach a keyboard is much better. the touch screen is always great! I bought an iPad for drawing and notes, but the hard tip on the apple pen makes me weird. I can use various brands with windows surface pro... and the felt tip option is soo much better for notes and drawing. I am able to run a VM, haven't tried dual boot yet. I do not like the ability not to be able to see how much time my battery can last me. my other laptop shows how long in hours and min I have in battery power, the pro doesn't do that. takes a while to charge, a USB charging option would be nice. but the charger isn't too bulky. BEST PART FOR SCHOOL: some online homework/learning portals/online books prohibit accessing their sites with tablets, or charge for the extra feature... having surface pro solves all that! :D

I am really enjoying using the Surface Pro 6. It is wicked fast and the screen quality is amazing. I am able to view pictures and organize them easily. I can also easily manage between external devices which means you can use an external hard drive and watch videos or movies, view pictures and documents and keep your space freed up on the device itself. The picture quality is wonderful when watching movies and the sound works incredibly well. I also bought the keyboard and wireless mouse which makes maneuvering and typing quite easy when typing up documents. I love the fact that I can use this as a tablet or use the keyboard and mouse so it is used like a laptop. I can use the touch screen at any time which makes it easy. The only con I have at this point is the fact that it only has one usb port and no port for SD cards. I had to buy a multi-port because my wireless mouse has a usb plug and if you need to use the usb for anything else you are out of luck. I use my SD cards from my digital cameras to download my pictures and had to buy an adapter to read the cards, which also plugs into a usb. Overall I am very pleased with this product and look forward to learning all the options it has available.

Purchased this product to help run a new startup. Has great battery life, exceptionally mobile, and professional look. Able to run everything I need to and has a good presentation to customers. Very fluid pen capability. Writes like paper. Love it.

I have had a Mac since 2014 and it is dying on me (the storage is full, can't process basic apps anymore, etc.). I was hesitant to try a new laptop besides Mac but ended up loving the Microsoft Surface! I love how it transforms from a laptop to a tablet, which makes taking it on the go so easy! I also love how Microsoft Edge syncs onto my phone so if I need a document off of my laptop, it's right there on my phone as well! This laptop has been a game changer for my job duties and photography editing needs. I highly recommend this great device!

I love my Surface Pro, it's light and powerful. The screen is gorgeous, hardware is solid. There's really no reason to spend more on the Pro 7. If you want a Surface try and find a 6 somewhere, they're priced "to move" with the 7 now out

This is the second Surface Pro I have owned. Previously had a SP4. I have primarily used Apple products for many years, but lately, it seems Apple's operating system is getting quirky. I purchased this to use at work, mainly for note-taking. As my title states, this is a better laptop than tablet. Note-taking with a surface pen works well, however, using the SP6 for a tablet do check emails, use the internet, read news, etc., works okay. SP6 not as sensitive to touch as my iPad Pro. When using the SP6 as a laptop with the MS keyboard cover I bought, it is great. The SP6 starts up quickly. Windows 10 really seems to be fluid on my SP6. Very fast when opening programs. Screen is great. I haven't accurately tested how long my battery lasted, but, as an example, I can start using at about 7 in the morning, using web browser, checking emails, using Word and it'll last until about 3 to 4 pm. Negatives are no keyboard included and pen is extra. But honestly, without having a keyboard and pen, I don't think you can use the SP6 to its maximum abilities. I thought long and hard about whether to buy the SP7 or SP6. Two things made me choose the SP6 - price and the reviews of SP7 that said the battery life was less than the SP6. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my SP6.

Bought the original Surface 6 years ago and finally upgraded to Pro 6. Lighter and slightly larger screen. Still getting used to new layouts but so convenient to have all my data transferred directly to new computer. Thanks Geek Squad.

This is my second Surface Pro. I purchased a Surface Pro 4 three years ago, which has been completely trouble free and enjoyable. The Pro 4 was still more than sufficient for my needs, except for battery life. I sometimes am unable to charge a PC during the day and I use the Surface for note taking in classes or meetings. The Pro 6 is a huge improvement in battery life. I hope Microsoft continues to develop the Surface line. I also have experience with MacBooks, however I prefer the Surface Pro experience.

I love the surface! I struggled with not purchasing a traditional laptop and am so glad I made the decision I did. It is easy to use, so versatile and is very compact so it’s great for travel. You can’t go wrong with this one!!!

Love my Surface Pro 6. Extremely fast was easy to sync to my Android Phone and pull over my laptop programs. No issues with it works super. All my spreadsheets and docs transfered over with no issues.

I love my Surface Pro 6! It’s fast, handles anything I put on it without slowing down. I’ve had a 3 since it it came out and my kid wanted it for college. It never had a problem and I expect the same from this one.

The surface Pro 6 is easily the best computer that I have ever owned. The type code\\ver and pen are both excellent. The only thing that I have noticed is that finding a replacement better for the pen can be difficult.

And 200 off sale finally got me to pull the trigger on a well needed upgrade. Coming from the surface 3 (non pro), having the pro 6 is a great feeling from a form factor I've grown to love. I love being able to take off the keyboard and have a good tablet or table top screen for things like view content and casual web browsing, I would consider the keyboard as a necessary item and tell you to factor that into your spending and have to knock it on being a needed item that's not bundled. Windows 10 synced a lot of my setting and preferences, making setting up quick and easy. Last but not least, in the words of MKBHD, "Matte Black all the things." this Black finish let's the surface look even sleeker and makes it stand out as the new surface.

My wife uses it for her realestate career. It is the best investment towards her career we have mad. User friendly and plenty of power to perform all the functions you need..unless your creating a 3d movie.

I buy this Microsoft for my son, who is about to go to college and he told me that it is very good they are a good size and are very practical to load them and perform any homework or school work.

We purchased the surface pro after much debate on it or a laptop. We are thrilled with the purchase. It is fast, lightweight, super reliable and convenient for us. Everything we wanted and then some.

My Surface Pro 3 was making fan noises and I needed a replacement. I LOVE the Surface Pro line and decided to beat my Best Buy store up to get them to match prices with even the Internet folks. Didn't have to -- their price was already better than the Amazons. And I picked it up in 10 minutes after driving 15 minutes to MY Best Buy store. (Patchogue). What a superb device -- faster, insanely longer battery life, great display -- I swear lighter! Also got a new keyboard -- of course they didn't even have to match the on-line price and literally grabbed it on the way to work. Superb cameras, great four core work, the latest model -- BIG improvement! Beats the pants off the rest of the notebooks.

I had personally gotten away from Windows many years ago and become an Apple fan. However, after the last Apple upgrade and I lost being able to use my old version Microsoft Office. A neighbor showed me her Surface Pro 6 and I was very impressed. I bought a 2018 out of box model with full warranty, found a supplier for older version of Microsoft Office that doesn't have to be renewed every year, and am now relearning Windows 10. This is more versatile than my 2018 iPad Pro. My wife was so impressed with it, I had to buy her one also.

I was looking for a laptop when this was shown the Surface. It powers up quickly and handles excel and word well. I recently had to travel and it was great having this. I'm glad that I bought this.
