I use a couple big excel spreadsheets with a lot of macros in it and it’s very slow to open, close, save, etc. Ptoblem is that the 16gb is just so much more expensive.

Within the first year of owning this Surface I had the battery die. Since the battery died within a year from purchase it was covered by the warranty - YAY... I had some damage to the kickstand (which in no way could have caused or contributed to the battery issue) and Microsoft refused to honor the warranty. Although Surface products are slick and well made I cannot recommend a Surface product to anyone (since the batteries are unserviceable).
