The surface is easy to use, very compact and very portable. I am not a geek. Transferring data/files from my old surface necessitated employing a computer expert. I presume that is an issue replacing any computer. The surface is easy to use and I frequently go to microsoft's tutorials or on line . I purchased the surface on line and found the best price at Best Buy

Purchased for my daughter to take away to college for her freshman year. She had always used an iPad in high school, so I was a little nervous about the change to the Surface Pro. She absolutely loves the Surface Pro, and it satisfies every need that she has had for it so far. Very happy with our purchase.

I bought the Surface Pro 7 i5 with 256GB for my wife on her birthday. It works great for her modest needs, but has plenty of power if she ramps up. It works great with the pen, keyboard cover, and we love Windows Hello for easily logging in. It's not great for using on your lap, but other than that, it's a very fine machine.

I am thoroughly impressed. Fast, sleek and versatile.

I have a Pro 3, which I bought 5 1/2 years ago, originally thinking of it just for travel. But I found it so easy to use and adaptable that it quickly became my main computer. So I knew that when it came time, the latest Surface Pro would probably be what I would choose. I've had the Pro 7 for several weeks so far, and I indeed find it a great product.

Perfect package Surface Pro 7 i5 8GB 256GB SSD with MS Surface type cover. Glad I got it all at once and stayed away from other “compatible” items. Bought separately a cloth folio cover and glass protector. Hope to purchase the genuine MS Surface pen to make it whole. Replaced my laptop which was a ton heavier. I love it.

I was using a Surface Pro 3 for many years and the battery was starting to wear down considerably. This is a perfect replacement: A LOT faster with a brand-new battery and compatible with my keyboard and docking station!

I am in love with my Surface Pro. This is the best purchase I've made so far in 2021. I love the speed of the cpu, the clarity of my screen and the convenience of having a laptop and tablet combined in one. I have been suggesting to as many people as I can that they should get one. Its really awesome!

We transitioned from a Surface Pro 4 that had a bulging battery. This Surface Pro 7 didn't seem that much different in speed, size or quality. I was able to reuse the protective case and cover/keyboard from the Surface Pro 4 on the Surface Pro 7. It is a good tablet, just wishing for more changes and hoping this battery doesn't bulge.

My wife was filling up her Surface 4 and she needed an update. it was great finding the last one in the area and doing a drive in pickup. (The trip home in the rain was the pits.) Every thing worked fine. My only disappointment was that there was no keyboard included. It turned out that the old one and the old case worked. If you look at the picture linked to the review it shows a keyboard. The original sales add showed a keyboard. There was small print saying that accessories were extra. Ok, but there was nothing that said the keyboard was an accessory. The saies area for the accessories did not show a keyboard. Hard looking eventually found one. Glad I did not have to buy it. So clarity would have been good. Even most of the multiple view pictures showed it with a keyboard.

This machine, laptop, tablet, whatever it is. Has worked pretty well for me so far. It works very well for email and web browsing, obviously. It has also performed well in photo editing via Lightroom. It is occasionally a bit laggy when opening a new program or switching between programs, but it's not bad considering it's portability.

This tablet has been an amazing back up for when my computer was in the shop. I've been able to do just about everything on it and then the only time I really have any trouble is trying to use some graphic heavy engineering software. Overall it was a great buy.

System is perfect for productivity; it looks, feels, and operates at a premium standard. This device is 1 of 3 surface devices in my household. My daughter is a UNC Tarheel student; she states that the various tools within the Surface Pro 7 has caused her to become more efficient and thorough

I love the Surface Pro 7! I've been wanting a Surface for years and finally made the jump. It's so much more versatile than a regular laptop! I use it for my small business, art/design, bookkeeping and more! I went with all black and black accessories. So sleek!

The Surface has been a welcome addition to my must haves for work. It is small and light enough to carry daily, and starts up quick and is easily put right to work with little effort. I highly recommend getting the keyboard and mouse as a package deal, but the pen can wait in my opinion.

Great work tablet! I like that, unlike the iPad, I can use this both as a work laptop and a work tablet for note-taking. I use both this and the 6th gen, and have enjoyed that the removable keyboard can be used with both devices.
