This is a christmas present, so can't really review right now, will update after christmas

Died on me after three weeks. Best Buy was awesome and helping me exchange it.

Product is not as advertised. The description says the keyboard charges the slim pen 2, but my bundle came with the pro X keyboard, with nowhere to charge the pen. The earliest I could get the pen charger in was august 26th, so I decided to go ahead and buy another keyboard to be able to use my device before my exams are due. However, the staff at Best Buy in Brandon, FL were super helpful in attempting to resolve the issue. Since the price wouldn't be that much different to buy the standalone machine, I went ahead and bought the newer Pro 8 keyboard separately so I can get to work.

I was really happy with this purchase. The surface worked great for about an hour, after that it started crashing almost every hour. Tried to do a reset. Couldn't do it. It crashed it between and I had to do it all over. I am guessing it's a faulty unit. Going back to the store today.

Really well designed, fun to use, atrocious battery life ...

Would overheat so bad I could not touch. Would turn off for a few minutes then it would turn back on by itself. Would start talking in the middle of the night. Full charge only lasted 3 1/2 hours.

Two attempts to setup and update software. One contact with Microsoft. 3rd reset means it is being returned. Lockups, updates failed, mouse pointer out of sync with area to click. Been in IT for 20 years and never had this bad an issue.

My review is the Surface Pro 8, keyboard, pen bundle. The surface, keyboard, and pen are all great on their own. The problem is that Best Buy is selling these three items as a bundle but the keyboard is NOT the signature keyboard. What does that mean? It means you have no way to charge your pen! I returned this bundle because of this.

Battery life and sound quality is not good. Not happy with camera quality either.

Had this thing a little over 3 weeks when it began to crash.

The software is garbage! To scan a multi-page document you must scan the first page and then click on a button that says add pages! That means there's no one click scan! Called the company, they confirmed. So long Brother hello Epson.

After watching the video below the product I made this purchase online and picked up in store. Was excited to get it home and try it out. This comes with the standard keyboard with no stylus. Not what I was expecting.

It didn't even last 30 days before it stopped charging. The touchscreen was not as smooth as I expected or my previous surface pro 7.

I upgraded from a Surface 3 that I purchased in 2015, and it is well worth it. Same excellent performance & convenience of size.
