My wife's an Apple person, but I'm an android/Google/Xbox user. I have a Google Pixel phone so I wanted a non-Apple laptop to go with my phone. I love the Surface Pro. I find it easy to use. I love the touch screen. With so many laptops on the market, I got a headache trying to decide. But I decided to go with a Microsoft, well established company. I do not regret it.

I do a lot of school work (reading, notes, watching videos, video calls, etc...) on this laptop and I love it. I can switch to a tablet to read chapters and take quick notes (I bought the slim pen that seems to accompany this laptop), or use it as a laptop to write papers. It is perfect for students that just need a device to do school work on.

The overall versatility of the machine is fantastic. Battery life has been good. However, even with 16gb of ram, it seems to lag with multi tasking. It also wasn’t very clear that I would need to upgrade to Windows 11 pro to leverage more advanced features.

They used to come with Microsoft Office (before Microsoft Office 365), which i miss. The device itself is wonderful! It's classified as a computer & does everything a laptop does. I love the bundle that Best Buy has every Black Friday with the Surface & Keyboard. You can't beat that deal!

I would only recommend it for casual office/school work as it works great with the Microsoft slim pen.

I usually wait until my device dies or no longer holds a charge before doing my research to purchase a new replacement. The setup is always easy with Microsoft devices, so I haven't run into any issues. The screen is a perfect size for a laptop, and getting the keyboard with it was an added bonus.
