I initially hesitated between getting this or an iPad Pro, but due to work requirements, I opted for the Surface Pro 9. I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. Using it to purchase tickets for the TXT concert on AXS was seamless—I bypassed the queue effortlessly. The same smooth experience occurred when using Ticketmaster for another TXT concert. Its speed and efficiency exceeded my expectations, and I'm eagerly looking forward to using it for more concert ticket purchases. The only downside is that it is heavier than I expected it to be but manageable.

I used this to replace my lenovo chromebook. Beautiful design (I bought green), and really fast. I'm a student who uses my surface pro 9 mainly for research, writing and streaming. I also have the pen and keyboard and taking handwritten digital notes has been a gamechanger. It is a bit hard to get used to carrying it around and propping it up if you have previously only used laptops, but as long as you have a surface (or if you get creative) the kickstand is no problem. The battery life is a little less than I'm used to, but not problematic. I've had my surface pro 9 for about a month now, and I still love it.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend as an upgrade from the Surface Pro 7. Such a big difference. The computer is very fast for being so thin. She works on the go so having the ability to use the Surface Pen 2 combo helps with note taking. Battery life is about 5 to 6 hours of "light" use. Using Word and Excel. Display is vibrant. Obviously you will need to reduce the brightness if you want longer battery life. Even at the lowest brightness it's still bright.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is undeniably an impressive device. It offers a sleek and modern design, accompanied by powerful performance that caters to a multitude of tasks. However, my experience with the touch screen was slightly inconsistent, as I occasionally had to tap it twice for a response. One significant factor that led me to return the Surface Pro 9 was the absence of an SD/SIM slot. In my line of work, I heavily rely on a SIM card for a more seamless and integrated Wi-Fi connection, rather than using an external attachment. This omission ultimately didn't align with my specific needs and preferences. Despite these minor setbacks, the Surface Pro 9 does shine in many aspects, making it a compelling option for those who prioritize versatility and performance in their computing devices.

This is the best computer that I own. I was happily surprised at it's rigidity and durability. The processor speed and it's processing prowess is hard to beat for the size and power. 10/10 I would purchase again.

I was becoming frustrated with Apple's OS on Ipad for pro workflows. I use tablets to mark up Architecture sheets daily which means dealing with tons of attachments and Microsoft apps. Windows 11 is actually kinda great and the hardware is just as premium. I still get through a whole day with the battery and performance is on par with the M1 Ipad. Palm rejection needs some work but it is a small inconvenience.

I was looking for a laptop that would primarily serve my need to use for coding and testing web development. I spent a lot of time researching the best solution, which lead me to the Surface Pro 9. It has been about 6 months of use now and I am very happy with the product. It is fast, the display is beautiful, the battery chargers quickly and holds charge well. It’s my favorite computer I have owned, by far. The color options are a nice touch.

I bought this for my daugher who is starting college in August. She had her last Surface Pro for 6 years without a single issue and didn’t want to go with any other brand or type when given the choice. She loves the versatility and the ease of use and as an artist on the side this is hands down her favorite laptop out of all the ones she has tried out. The Surface Pro has bren a great choice for us for over 6 1/2 years!

A Really Awesome Laptop and Tablet

I love my Surface Pro 9. It's really convenient to have the power of a laptop and the versatility of a tablet. My primary complaint is that Microsoft has dismantled a lot of what made the Surface a great tablet. Most notably is the Windows Subsystem for Android. The absence of mobile apps is frustrating because a lot of streaming services only have the option to access via web browser for PC. Regardless, there are many things on Windows which do work great in tablet mode.

Great "tablet first" form factor computer

If you're looking for a device in this form factor and need Windows, this is a great choice. The Surface has a substantial feel to it, and is definitely premium. Smooth edges, folding hinge, and light heft make the device a joy to hold and use. It's plenty powerful opening multiple documents and playing some low demanding games. The speakers have good tuning and the bass really produces a good resonance to movies and music. The only downside is the battery life, maybe getting about 6 hours or so, but that gets me through a work day as I'm not on the device the entire time. Probably would improve battery life if I were to use the 60hz screen rate setting and getting away from the Chrome browser. I've also been using it as an e-reader and that has given me many more hours of life, so it just comes down to your usage. As with prior Surface Pro devices, the accessories are expensive, but kind of necessary to really get the best functionality out of the computer. You don't have to get the accessories; older surface pens work just fine and bluetooth keyboards are aplenty. Getting the signature keyboard though really brings everything together into a cohesive package, slim pen 2 and all. It not being included with the price is where the value proposition goes down. You could save a bit of money getting a similar device from a competitor (keyboard included) but there are trade-offs there as well. Just depends on your needs really. For a niche segment such as this, it's nice to have choices in form factors, and realistically speaking, this being a Microsoft product doesn't necessarily mean it runs Windows better or anything like that. It has the same usual issues you'll find with any Windows device out there, and the same limitations. But its powerful, quiet, fully featured, and it's also asthetically modern and beautiful. Just don't expect a video editing, ray-trace gaming, CAD designing power house and you'll be fine. This is for those who want to do Excel, Word, Powerpoint, e-reading, browsing the web, binge watch a series, and do their taxes. It's the "everyday" machine to pick up and enjoy. It's worth it if it's what you're looking for.

I couldn't be happier with my new Microsoft Surface PRO. The sales Tech at BestBuy defiantly knows the capabilities and operation. I told him what i needed and this turned out to be exactly what i needed. Work or play this is hands down something you should consider if you're in the market for or a PC. It has the versatility of a tablet. But is a full-blown PC. I don't even use my iPad pro now!
