Easy to connect , the pen is cool, but it’s a lil expensive for a keyboard

This keyboard is an improvement because of the ability to carry the surface pen around with you and not have to worry about it falling out. The thing that this keyboard is lacking for me is the sturdiness.. It's somewhat sturdy but it's a thin piece of plastic and since it sits at an angle, because i am a fast typer, i feel like i am going to break the keyboard or i am going to press down on it too hard.. It has a little bit of a bend when that happens.. Now I can lay this flat down and not tilt it up, and that makes it feel a bit more sturdy. I would like to see additional keyboard types for this that connects to it and uses the power of the surface pro itself rather than a bluetooth keyboard or something of that nature. Overall, it's a good keyboard, and protects the screen when it's closed. It also has a trackpad on it for the mouse, Overall, it's a good purchase.

Purchased this item as a replacement for my laptop with thr Microsoft Pro 8. It is convenient, fast and easy to use. I like the keyboard and pen.

The keyboard and pen work great. The fact that the pen recharges is an improvement over the pens that came with the older Surface Pros that require AAAA batteries.

The surface keyboard functions as intended. It’s feels really nice. It’s a pleasure to type with. The trackpad can be a touch bigger even though it already is compared to previous model, but a bit more would be nice. That would however sacrifice palm rest space. And I rather have that tbh. The slim pen 2 feels good in the hand, which I really wasn’t expecting. The amount of functionality the pen has great. They both work really well with the surface pro 8. I cant say anything bad about it. If there is one thing I would say, the price, but they will begin going on sale next month I’m sure because of the holidays, assuming you can find them in stock.

Purchased for my Black Surface Pro 8; well designed, comfortable for regular typing experience. The pen holder space is amazing, No worries about replacing the battery.

Not sticky keys and the pen is a great addition. Love that it’s detachable!

Great feeling keyboard. It has a place to store the pen and charges it at the same time. This is a big upgrade on past surface keyboards.

I first purchased the MS pro 8 and had it for about a month along with an older refurb pen. Got the keyboard with slim pen two and love both items. Keyboard is super easy to add/remove and is light weight. The slim pen 2 is far better than the older pens and way more responsive and has a better feel in my hand. Only advice, is choose a good case that supports the keyboard functionality and supports the stand on the back of the surface. Pen charges on the keyboard only not magnetically to the surface like the previous pens.

Not much to say really. Well made keyboard. Pen works excellent. I would recommend you purchase one with your Surface Pro 8

I loved how well it connected to the Pro 9. It snapped in 100% perfectly every time! The little tray for charging and storing the slim pen is also nice, but I strongly advise not buying that stupid pen. It's not good. The build quality of the keyboard is good. Nice and strong for what it is. Only downside is the price. We all know this thing is probably worth $20 but they'll charge $80+ nonetheless.

I got this for my boyfriend and he loves it! He loves that the pen is stored in the keyboard. Works well. He hasn’t had any problems.

solid keyboard. the pen is comfortable to use as well. the pressure isnt as sensitive as the barrel pen. but you get used to it after a while. the connector concerns me, but ive been using it over a year with no issues so maybe its not a concern.

Best in class keyboard attachment. Could be a little less pricey, but it’s a premium product.

The keyboard works great for the laptop. It connects with magnets so it's easy to put in and out. It also folds over and you can use te pen to write or even just your fingers for the touchscreen. The pen is pretty accurate and writes and draws in real time with little delay if you use any note-taking or drawing apps.

Worth it!!! Keys are not as loud but you can feel the keys as you click on them in a mechanical way! Not dense at all.

You will end up buying this at some point if you have a surface pro x/8/9. I would wait until it goes on sale or pick up an open box model, which there always seem to be plenty of. The keyboard and trackpad are much improved over the previous surface type covers, and the surface slim pen 2 is among the best digital pens I have used. I think the pen is even better than that of the apple pencil 2. The flat shape of the pen, which feels like a carpenter's pencil in the hand, allows the device to be easily gripped, and your hand is never confused of where it is. Additionally, Microsoft has added haptic feedback to their surface pen this time around, which adds an extra level of immersion when writing on an otherwise texture-less glass screen. The battery life is more than enough for a full day and the charging location at the top of the keyboard is both genius and ensures you will never lose it in a bag.

Excellent keyboard with pen included. I drove the a further away BestBuy because the website showed an open box item for a good bit less but turned out it wasn't in the store, despite me having two employees searching everywhere. I ended up paying full retail price because the manager wouldn't price match.
