Great keyboard. Got backlit light, storage for the pen and its so lightweight

...If you want to utilize all the features available to you on your Surface Pro 9...(Sigh). Great keyboard and Pen, too bad there's not a "Neutral" selection for the Reviewer. Both of these units, individually or as a "package are a bit over-priced (a mere additional $300) in my opinion. That you have to buy them separately, as accessories to your new Surface Pro, is sure to delight no-one! Someone really screwed-up this time. Basically, we're now being "forced" into purchasing items that flesh-out the capabilities of the Surface Pro 9. Are they good...Heck yeah! Is it right that we're "forced" into this position? No, that's just greed on the part of MS. Shame on you MS, shame!

The keyboard works very well. I bought it for the new Surface model on sale. It's great to be able to use previous versions on new computers.

I have been reluctant to buy this accessory for my Surface Pro 9 5G but when it went on sale for less than $200, I felt that it was worth it. Unfortunately, I returned the first one because the quality was poor. The pen trough seems to have lots of variance in color, particularly at both ends of the trough. There also appeared a blemish from burnishing of the pen. Not expected for an out of the box experience. The deal breaker was the massive gap between the track pad and the palm rest. This is not acceptable on any level of product and is so poor when the user can "look into the device" because the gaps are so large. Finally, the second device had a connection problem. Restart and firmware upgrade helped but this should be plug-n-play. Surface App experience is ok... nothing difference than last year's product. I wish there was more functionality for customizing the pen, particularly for shading.

This item is easy to use, simple set up and slim enough to keep the sleek look of my surface pro. I like the built in charger for my stylus pen so i can keep my pen charging when i switch to my mouse.

This keyboard has a very regal look and the keys feel quite nice even during long typing sessions. The charging slot for the pen is very convenient because it helps keep the pen charged at all times and if you are forgetful like me you never have to worry about losing your pen. The keyboard also folds quite nicely under the screen during note taking and leaves the pen slot on the front so it is very easy to pick up and put down the pen when note taking or drawing. Totally recommend!

I am very pleased with my purchase! The Alcantara used in this keyboard feels real and authentic. The keys are also nice to type in; what I mean is it feels buttery smooth and it gives me satisfying clicks. I appreciate the added little compartment for the Slim Pen 2 featured. Especially when you “hide” the compartment it angles the keyboard up nicely. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this Pro Signature Keyboard. It folds down nicely to reveal the Surface Slim Pen 2 - which is magnetically secured in the slot! It just snaps right in there! The keys have a great rebound and feel - much like a traditional keyboard - which I like. Great space between the keys. The keys do make a clicking noise (like traditional keyboards - but not as loud) so just keep that in mind if you are taking it to meetings. The Keyboard attaches and detaches to the Surface Pro easily and folds flat when you want to use it as a tablet. - 1st picture has the pen hidden, 2nd has the pen tray shown, 3rd has it folded behind the Surface Pro 8 - to use in tablet mode.

Typing is SO smooth and there's no chance of losing the pen! Also the magnetic clicking of the keyboard to the tablet is so satisfying.

Initially, I figured it would be too small and uncomfortable, but that surprisingly is not the case. Definitely recommend.

Better than the last one on my other 2 in 1 the silicone over time would leave a residue, but this one is softer and smoother than the last. Enjoy typing on this one better and love the fact you can buy multiple to accessorize.

This is my second Surface Pro keyboard. I have the Surface Pro 4. I went this black this time because the grey, over time, shows palm marks. I'm assuming I won't have that issue with black. Works well. Keys have a good touch and pen works well.

It works well and its very helpful but sometimes the keymouse acts werid also i dont like how all the keyboards dont match the tablet
