Easy to use. Luckily I already bad the keyboard so I didn't need to buy a charger.

I purchased the Microsoft - Surface Slim Pen 2 to use with my Surface Duo. I wanted a pen that would store well with the Duo and the Surface Pen was not working - the magnets were not holding well.
The Surface Slim Pen 2 works much better, but still can work itself loose.
The build quality is good and the rounded blocky design fits well in my hand and is a pleasure to use with my Duo. It still feels like plastic on glass, but it works.
There is no way to charge this pen unless you have the new Surface Pro 8 or the Slim Pen 2 Charger. Be aware of this if you intend to purchase this pen.
I would only recommend this pen if you have a use for it and have a way to charge it.

It's ok, the stylus isn't the most compatible with my Asus z13 as the mpp 2.0 support isn't the best. Thus results in poor line quality, however testing it on a old surface book 3 I had it works really well. This is also very expensive as the charger is another $45 but there isn't any USBC port to go wrong and it is very reliable with excellent build quality.

The pen itself works very well as an accessory to the surface. I switched from an iPad Pro 12.9 M1 model with an Apple Pencil to the Surface Studio Laptop.
Overall the Surface Pen has more functionality. There are customizable programmable buttons that allow for the device to remotely open programs and have different functionalities. It writes well, but is not as comfortable in the hand as a traditional round pen.
If you are a Microsoft person this device will please you as an accessory to your Surface or Windows device.

Easy to pair to my surface 7 and although all of the haptic feedback features don't work with the surface 7 it still vibrates when battery is low and is much more comfortable in the hand than the older bulk stylus.

Pen works great! No fault of Best Buy, but gave it a 3 star because you have to purchase a charger separately. Think that would be included with what Microsoft sells it for.

Bought the Surface Pen 2 for my new Duo 2. Works well with the device and with the upgrade can active One Note with a click. The bummer is the charger comes separately and has to touch the charger for one second to activate the pen

I like how Microsoft designed this pen, very powerful and very versatile, little bit expensive but it gives you what you need. Even better id you have the keyboard with incorporated charger. I just simply love this pen.

I like the pen for selecting items on the screen. definitely better than my fat finger. I am not sure if it works with software other than Microsoft products.

This pen is slim and smooth. It pairs easily. Easy to use. Love the erase feature as well as the picture taking capability. It fits perfectly in the charging slot of the Surface Pro Keyboard. It is a bit pricey.

How about a better disclosure

I purchased the pen in good faith after research and asking the Best Buy (BB) chat about compatibility to my SP 7. It was established it was, but MSFT and/or BB made no effort to disclose that a seperate charger would be required for SP prior to 8. They just list them all as the same in the product specs. Another $35 is one thing, but now i have to reorder and all that goes along with that. I hope my opinion changes once I get operational with it, but right now we are getting off to a bad start. How Ironic, BB is quick to suggest other items to purchase with something, but they too, like MSFT, fail to tell you what you MUST have. I would have thought better. Consumer's wasted time mean nothing to MSFT.

I'm not very picky about pens for tablets. It is easy to use and works as intended. It is thinner/flatter compared to other pens. Overall, it works as it should and gets the job done. If you are someone whole uses these types of pens often, you may not like the design as much. But for simple uses (like signing e-documents), its pefectly fine.

I don't like the shape feels weird and its not as smooth as it could be while drawing, so far only used it in paint so I could be wrong but I'm still learning how to use it so maybe it will get better as I get used to it plus it didn't come with a charger and I had to buy it separately, it should really come with the charger
