Does the work. Super light and easy to use item. Though you don't use it often

This charger works well, but it should be part of the package when you purchase a Surface Pro keyboard with the pen charging station. I have purchased 3 of the keyboards and Microsoft finally figure out that certain updates tell the keyboard it is no longer a charging device! And no one sees to know how to fix this. Thank goodness an external charger is available!

Great for slim pen 2, not so much the regular pen. But it is just one extra piece to have to remember to grab. I prefer the keyboard with magnetic charging slot (but it only works with the slim pen 2 which isn't my fave).

Great pen. Feels good in the hand and the response timing is great when I’m writing notes!

Could be better quality plastic. Nice it is chargeable. Tip is sensitive. Easy to use and connect to computer.

I bought this a couple months back. It’s still in awesome good shape and sits perfectly on my table. So far no problems. I definitely recommend!

Highly recommend, if you use a keyboard for your surface that doesn't charge, this is needed

I wish, when I bought the pencil, they had mentioned I needed the charger. I thought it would plug in to my Surface the same way my Apple pencil plugs in to my iPad. This works fine, i just wish they designed it better so I didn't need to purchase this extra piece of hardware.

Charges fast. Doesn’t take up a lot of room. Should be sold with the pen but it’s not.

I could not fathom how the charger worked until I received it. It is a magnetic tray that the pen lays in to charge. The charger connects to a computer via a USB plug. Nice to use,

Works like it's supposed to. I like that it has a usb-c connector to go with the rest of my usb-c accessories. The magnets always flips the pen so it goes in the right way. The base has a nonslip pad so it doesn't get easily tugged by the USB cable. Bought it on sale so it was worth it.

My wife loves it. I wish we had been told we needed the charger at time of the purchase of the pen. Made for two trips.

Gets the job done but is easy to lose. Microsoft should add magnetic charging to the next model.

Repeating my Surface Slim Pen 2 review (below) to put my highly recommended Slim Pen Charger into proper context. I've owned three models of Surface Pro (SP1, SP4, SP7) plus an RT--and all their matching pens. This is definitively the best-writing AND most comfortable-to-use Surface Pen yet. I did not expect any noticeable difference. I was wrong. The SP7 does not automatically charge the Slim Pen 2, therefore, to use it, I had to also purchase the Slim Pen USB C Charging cradle. Worth it. I don't travel with the Slim Pen 2--it's too expensive, and I only have one. Plus, it does not magnetically attach to my Surface Pro 7 as it would with later models. Therefore, I still use one of my older, round barrel Surface Pens when on the road. But at home, the Slim Pen 2 sits in its cradle on my desk right above my keyboard and is the first pen I reach for. Battery life has not been an issue--even with the Bluetooth-enabled eraser button set to bring up Microsoft Whiteboard with a click. Just my opinion--hope it helps someone.

Honestly, this should have come with the pen. Money grab by Microsoft and I didn't want to purchase it, but it works as described. Charges pretty fast.

It work's great, had a pen with no charger. It worked right out the box. Easy to use.
