An Upgrade for Windows But a Downgrade for iMac

Microsoft Visual Studios is an upgrade for a Windows Computer. It has facial recognition that you can use to securely login to your system. Like with any Windows computer, the software programs and games are more compatible than MacOS, and Linux. It also has an extremely high resolution so it sometimes can load high quality pictures and videos. This computer also takes touch screen computers to a whole new level especially for digital artists. You can now draw on the computer screen which wasn't possible even with Dell's most powerful laptop: the Dell 13 9370. Digital artists don't need to purchase tablets anymore for their artwork. This is the most powerful Windows computer I've used by far. The loading and processing speed is a lot faster than most computers using the Windows operating system. It also has more memory, and faster performance. Also, for people that are nearsighted and farsighted this computer has feature where you can adjust the text size and page size to be a lot larger than previous Windows computers.
So I have been using a 27 inch iMac with a 5K retina for years. But I recently had to switch to a Microsoft Visual Studios computer because I needed a Windows computer for work. But instead of an upgrade, it was more like a downgrade compared to the iMac. The loading speed to start the Windows operating system was slower compared to the MacOS. Some times the images are blurry, and lose resolution. I had multiple bugs while using Adobe Photoshop CC 2020. When resizing the images, the quality of the images was much worse. I couldn't preserve the shadows on my photo edits. It also randomly restarted and shut down my computer for Windows updates. Also, like any Windows computer it's more prone to viruses and malware than MacOS. Since the operating system is easier to program.
The Microsoft Visual Studio solves a lot of vision problems and challenges. It's a lot easier to see the text on a website or program because you can adjust the size of the text, and web pages. The text sizes are a lot bigger than before. It also has a touch screen pen which eliminates the need to buy a tablet for digital art. The touch screen pen also works better than a computer mouse. It's faster and more efficient.

GREAT All-In-One

I have had many All-In-Ones. PC and MAC. I thought my last 27" was great. Unfortunately, it died. I tried another 27" and was really disappointed with screen resolution and brightness, so I returned it. I decided to bite the bullet and get the Surface Studio. I am familiar with the Surface family, owning a SurfaceBook V1 Pro. Although these are very expensive the build quality, ergonomics, screen resolution, and brightness make it worth the investment. I am very impressed. The only complaint is the keyboard and mouse shipped with the unit are VERY inferior. For $3500 I am disappointed. The keyboard is so cheap it is warped and rocks while typing, and the mouse is equally deficient. I had to spend more money and buy some good Logitech gear.

I havent played with all the pretty features yet. But that adjustable screen is what sold me! The stylus is amazing as well, best one ive ever used. Not sold on the mouse and it doesnt come with the other mouse. The keyboard is alright. But all in all i love it so far and cant wait to dive into the artsy sidr of it.

Its an awesome computer, lots of bells and whistles.
The salesman was knowledgeable about it. He did say we got the pen and the surface dial with it but getting it home we found that you have to buy that separately. Disappointed but stuff happens.
Overall so far I'm happy i have a lot to learn.

Perfect for my needs as a graphic designer. This is the best addition for drawing and general Photoshop use. I will get a Surface Studio 3 if they ever make one.

This computer is ideal for everyone. I am not a graphic designer nor a gamer..... this is used for my small business and I love every aspect of it. The screen is the clearest I’ve ever seen or used.

I have purchased 5 of these machines for various installations. I am about to purchase another one. They are exceptional machines with power and stability to back them up. I highly recommend this for a high-end residential installation and/or a business environment where the touch-screen features and power of the machine add to productively. It is not an entry-level machine and the cost high, I do wish they had a lower-cost alternative with the same design for a more basic user.

I've had the computer for less than a month and LOVE it! I am still learning all the things I can do with the Windows Ink pen. I am having fun with the coloring book but will ultimately be using the computer with sketches and floorplans for remodeling projects.

I love my MS Surface Studio! Microsoft has come a LONG way in their innovation in the last several years/decade. They were a sleeping giant for awhile, but they've really upped their game again with new business tools including incredible upgrades to their graphic design abilities and support! Keep it up, MS! No more sleeping on the job!
