I tried 3 other docks that we had here in the office and none of them worked with my system. I bought this Microsoft Surface Thunderbolt and everything fired up perfectly. No tweaking, no software adjustments before or after plugging this in. All the devices plugged into it work perfectly.

Bought this for my Surface Pro but find it to work with my work laptop, a Dell, and my Galaxy Tab. Connects quickly, if your monitors dont have USBC/TB make sure you add a usb-c adapter to your purchase as there are no "traditional" vid ports here

Works well with an m4 macbook. Great form factor as well. Supports 4k 120hz monitor with vrr, an ssd, and gigabit ethernet.

Easy to set up and has all the ports you need. I have a camera, two monitors, surface pro, and speakers hooked to it. All I have to do i come in and plug the mini usb 3 to surface pro to use everything, and keep the surface pro powered and charged.

Needed a hub to connect my laptop to 2 monitors and this does the job. Sometimes have to plug in a few times but overall it works

Easy setup once I purchased the usb-c to hdmi cable I needed for my monitor since it does not have an hdmi video port.

Laptops used to have docks, now they have these things. The convenance is well worth the money.

Solid build, amazing uses and applications. In fact it is the pinnacle of usefulness. The Thunderbolt 4 Dock does all one may require of it & is a definite -must have- with any Surface model. In short- This dock makes computing less of a total chore and more of a total joy! No regrets! Love it!

Its awesome and works great with my surface pro 9 very happy with this. I can add so much more with this and be hard wired in with ethernet

I guess it's ok. My monitor's USB C port is only for charging a device so I had to order an HDMI to USB C cable to make it work. Be aware that this ONLY has USB (3-A's and 3-C's), and an ethernet port.

Exactly what I needed to finish my home studio with multiple instruments and modelers etc... Pricey, but the quality is definitely there. I purchase a lot of hubs, docks, breakouts, adapters, etc.... This one actually feels like a piece of gear.

Unable to connect multiple monitors but works better than others

This works flawlessly with my Surface Pro 7 & 9. Used it for copying to a thumb drive, extra monitor, etc. I do wish the power supply wasn't so bulky, but it you want it to power everything by USB, it has to come from somewhere...

Great multi port easy to connect other devises and external monitors

I keep this at work. It is so convenient. If i did not get it with the surface I'm sure i would have pruchased it after.

If you use dual monitors this little dock works very well. I have Samsung monitors and a Microsoft Surface laptop and love the ease of connecting everything.

They’ve updated the functionality of the Surface Dock. This new one does NOT connect to the machine via the magnetic connector the travel charger uses, but rather through a USB-C cable. Not as convenient as I hoped, but absolutely no loss of functionality.

I got an off-brand dock, and it would randomly. cause my screens to go black. Have not had that problem since I got the Thunderbolt 4 dock.

Bought as an open box, so the price wasn't as much of a factor. The dock works really well for both my Surface Pro and another laptop. While it doesn't have HDMI or Displayport, the USB-c output for video works really well. If you can get it "on sale", definitely worth a buy.
