Exactly what I needed for my new Surface Pro 8 work tablet. I connect up to two separate monitors to my surface and still have ports other accessories if needed.

Best dock created by Microsoft. USB C connection is helpful for charging too.

Thunderbolt USB-C is very fast. Took some time to get used to that connection versus the charger plug.

Much improved compar to the old surface docking stations. So far it is working like a charm with the surface pro 4.

The dock itself is high quality and well made; it has plenty of ports to get the job done, but is mysteriously lacking in HDMI ports. I didn't realize that moving to USB-C as the standard eliminated HDMI in the process. For the price of the dock, it would be helpful to have at least one or two.

its great i just wished it had a power button to turn on the computer. Other than that it works like its supposed to.

Very frustrated. Bought this to use with a QHD ultrawide monitor. I was hoping for better resolution on netflix and other streaming services. When my laptop 5 is docked to it, I lose resolution on the monitor. If I plug the usb-C to HDMI cable direct to the computer it works just fine. Frustrated also because I bought usb C speakers to use with the dock that I can't use when the monitor is plugged to the computer to maintain video quality. When I drag the netflix app between the monitor and my laptot it shows the difference in quality available to play. Very annoying!!!

Lifesaver and a must have for the surface pro! Buy it

Would be nice if it had atleast 1 HDMI and a slot for an SD card. Really expensive. It’s nice and well built though.

Does it’s job. It works as a dock so you can import and use the ports to your laptop but rather big and heavy.

Sometimes the usb-c connection with monitor gets disconnected for no reason, but maybe due to cable being used. Otherwise it works fine.
