Perfect Accessory for Home Office

This new one does NOT connect to the machine via the magnetic connector the travel charger uses, but rather through a USB-C cable. Not as convenient as I hoped, but absolutely no loss of functionality.

Nice simple dock

The dock works really well for both my Surface Pro and another laptop. While it doesn't have HDMI or Displayport, the USB-c output for video works really well. If you can get it "on sale", definitely worth a buy.

And, though it isn't cheap, I think if it's features and utility represent a good value.

Lacking HDMI ports

I didn't realize that moving to USB-C as the standard eliminated HDMI in the process. For the price of the dock, it would be helpful to have at least one or two.
