A must have if you do not want to always have to be tied to the docking station. It converts one of the ports to an ethernet adapter port so you can hard wire you computer into your network vs. having to use your wireless network.

Adapter works great.plugged ethernet cable into adapter and I could instantly experience my full DSL speed from modem. WIFI does not provide full ethernet cable speed.

Not much to say. I needed to update the firmware on my router, but of course my laptop does not have an ethernet port. Used this adapter and was able to connect to my router's ethernet port.

Solid USB 3.0 Gigabit adapter that is labeled like it is for a MS Surface but it will work with any USB 3.0. It performs as well as a regular PCI card does and has a nice look to it. Only thing I would change would be the cord which is a little thin.

When I needed a direct wired connection when on the go, this device provided the right solution. Now I don't have to carry the more bulky docking station.

Works incredibly well with any miracast enabled device. No need for a wireless network if you have the right software installed.

Gets you high speed with no data loss. Would recommend if you want to achieve full internet speed thru ethernet cable to your surface. Try this with cat 7 cable, it will give you better speed.
