Got this one as my daughter needed to use her surface in different areas, and when she was not connected to the hub, it as not easy to connect other screens. Perfect for anyone who is using the surface in different locations and wants to connect different screens.

Basic usbc hub that works with surface tablet and is very compact. A little more expensive but you can buy it on sale or open box and it just works, no drama. Works on a newer hp laptop I tried and probably works with most as long as it supports video through usb c. Small too.

A must have for working from home. I use it almost every day when one monitor isn't enough work space.

The Microsoft USB-C Travel Hub falls short of expectations. While it's compact and offers a variety of ports, including HDMI, USB-A, and Ethernet, the performance is disappointing. The HDMI connection is unreliable, sometimes failing to detect external displays or causing flickering issues. The USB-A ports occasionally struggle with consistent data transfer speeds, and the Ethernet connection can be spotty. Additionally, the hub tends to overheat with prolonged use, which affects overall functionality. For the price, the build quality feels lacking, and it doesn’t provide the dependable performance needed for travel. Overall, it’s not the reliable companion I expected for on-the-go productivity.

This is the perfect accessory for my Surface laptop. I had been considering the full docking station but didn't want to be limited to a traditional desk setup. The compact size of this hub makes it travel friendly, just like my Surface, allowing me to connect to larger TVs or monitors anywhere with multiple video connection options as well as providing additional USB ports. It connected easily, quickly and is user friendly.

Great Product, love the plug and play design BUT one thing that they should list first is that you can run two monitors out of the vga port and hdmi port at the same time, gotta be one or the other (so the vga port is essentially useless or vice versa I think?) Anyway just think they should put that on the cover and not in fine print on the inner packaging. satisfied and will be keeping this product to use with my 2019 surface laptop Also big shoutout to best by rewards program which actually incentivizes you to leave an honest review, I just want the points and have no reason to lie here

Great speaker if you need very few ports. But is a great addition and is minimal. It’s good for taking on the road. Only thing to remember is it can only support 1 external monitor.

The travel hub is the perfect size for additional connectivity ports. Has everything you need without being bulky or taking up a ton of desk space. Highly suggest, price point is a little high but worth it.

This is exactly what I needed for my corporate presentations where every location seems to have a different setup. This ensures that I will not have compatibility problems. It is a bit pricey but worth it knowing it works with my Surface laptop.

Great product. Everything I need to really help setup an “office on the go” as I travel around the world. Helps simplify life in hotels and at airports to wire up to a television, portable monitors and external keyboard and mouse when needed

Awesome product. I got this hub so that I can connect my laptop, which only has C-ports (no display, dvi, or vga ports) to a monitor (which only had either a vga or div port) so that I can do work on a bigger screen. I could have just easily bought a monitor that had the correct port but decided to go with this because I didn't have any more room on my desk for another monitor. Also, I can't really travel with a monitor but I definitely take this hub on the road with me. It's light, slim, small, and sturdy.

If you are a Microsoft Surface owner, then this is a much have. I can connect my Surface Book 3 to TV, provided the HDMI connection in this Hub. Works without any glitches. in addition, it also offers many other connection options including USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. Little at the pricy side, but you will be glad you bought this.

Great product! Expensive, but the best one I could find. Works excellent with my Surface laptop - I use it to connect my VGA monitor, wireless keyboard, and headset because I have very limited ports on my laptop. I also tried it with my iPad Air and it worked to connect a keyboard and monitor!

I have a Surface and bought a generic hub for WFH to connect my 2nd monitor. The guy at Best Buy said it would work. Months later, I purchased the Microsoft-C Hub, data transfer is fast and no issues with connectivity to other devices plugged. Long story short buy the brand name, it's pricier but worth it when you want reliable connection.

I don't use this hub for travel, but I use it to connect my surface pro 7 to my ultrawide monitor. It works really well and I have had no issues. I don't have any crazy accessories that need to be plugged in which is why I went with the travel hub vs the regular dock.

One watch out - you can not plug 2 items in at the same time - i was using the UBS for sound and HDMI for projection and the projection would not work. So it is great when you use one input but not for using 2 at the same time.

I love the multiple ports and ease of use. I carry this everywhere I take my laptop. I get tons of questions about it. It has saved my "work" life multiple times. HDMI, VGA, ethernet, etc. Great for merging old and new technology.
