To replace Win7

And it did the trick! The online upgrade didn't work as it locked me out of Administrator access and after 3 days of troubleshooting, I restored the PC back to Win7. This fresh install worked without a hitch and had all of the drivers I needed to get up and running quickly. The PC is now working as if it is brand new and I couldn't be happier.

But as with all operating systems it comes with its flaws. Microsoft seems to try especially hard to take as much of your personal information as possible. But there are many options to turn that off. The Windows store is nice. It makes things more user friendly however there's also a lot of cash grabbing going on.

Easy for use when building a pc

It was very easy to boot to the thumb drive and install windows. The key worked perfectly with no issues. I’m all about shopping around for a good deal. And this was on sale when I bought it. But I know too many people who have ended up buying the deal they found. Then still ended up having to buy this to finish their build. Save your self the time and buy it the first time.

It's Windows..I'm not sure what I can say that everyone doesn't already know. It's definitely overpriced but what can you do!?! Unless you need the specific extras in the Pro version the Home version is all you need, no need to pay any more than you already have to.

What a Breeze!

All I had to do was put it in my new PC and everything pops up to get you started! It could not be any easier! Worth every penny buying here from Best Buy, knowing you're not taking a chance on buying used codes from other sites.

works, but took three down loads

The only problem now is getting my HP printer to work with this system. Have down load new driver, but still not working, will keep at it. Otherwise, works as it should. Like having a flash instead of down loading from net.
