As a long time user of both windows and mac, I have really come to like the stability ans use ability of win10. It seems like MS gets it right about every other version, so I guess it's a good call they go out on a high note with this one, making it the last version of windows.

Yes, I had to buy Windows 10 due to a crashed hard drive and no recovery disk (which was running Windows 8.1 before). As everyone says it is a great improvement over 8 - as someone who currently uses a Server 2012 computer which is set up much like desktop 8, I still feel the pain, and the relief to get back to 10 on the desktop. I like the Edge browser much better than IE, but it does have mysterious pauses and delays on startup. And I swear it's intentionally making it more difficult to access my Gmail - I finally switched back to Chrome recently. The startup time for my setup is thankfully short which can be accomplished in the settings fairly easily. Otherwise it's pretty solid, but I still prefer my Win7 Professional laptop for work related matters.

After a very short learning period, I am doing fine with Windows 10. I am pleased with my purchase.

I was able to setup router in a matter of minutes. In my household, we have a 2 MacBook Air, 2 PC's, 2 iPhones, and an iPad. For a long time, I've wanted a shared storage drive that would always be on so all my computers and iOS devices could access it wirelessly at any time. The new Apple Time Capsule has finally given me that. In addition, the wireless internet speed of my network is 50% faster.

Had to reinstall after another program wiped out my whole system, was very easy installation!

Finally Microsoft makes installation simple and easy to use, all through a USB flash drive.

What can I say. It's Windows 10. Been using it on my laptop and at work for about a year without issues so moving to it on my desktop was not an issue. I was eligible for a free upgrade but couldn't due to an issue with partition sizing. I knew all my hardware was compatible. Had one issue with an old version of Photo Shop that was not supported. Everything else reinstalled without problems.

My daughter needed the software for a college class. We are very pleased with the purchase.

I was so impressed with Windows 10. If you loved Windows XP than you will enjoy the ease of 10. Its a 10!

It was easy to install and use. I was familiar with its interface from using Windows 8.1 and my Xbox 360.

This purchase was exactly what I expected. Came on a USB stick which was better than a CD.

I like the windows 10 operating system that was installed to my laptop it was much needed.

The windows install was hampered by Parallels but once the Microsoft online help person got involved it was done in 10 minutes! Works like a charm now but does have issues when updates come in. My MP2016 projects can go haywire and I have to shut down and restart.

Had Vista hated Vista on my laptop. Took it to best buy and they upgraded it. I love my laptop again!

No problems. It was a easy install. Everything was as expected.

I have been a lifelong OS X user and although I have used other versions of Windows in the past it has never been my main OS. I recently made the switch as I have started to get into PC gaming and Windows 10 has been an okay experience for me coming from OS X. Of course there are differences in the two operating systems but my honest opinion is that I don't see one being better than the other, just different.
