Own an older computer so it took about three attempts to finally complete the installation. If you do own a slightly older computer, be prepared to set aside some time for the install. Based on our usage, we purposely went with the less costly upgrade, rather than paying for a new PC/laptop. Once complete we were happy with the performance. Still learning to navigate, but it helps having Windows 10 at work. Ran into some menu issues with my printer (different layout, some shortcuts not available) but still able to operate. No major complaints, other than having to learn the new layouts. Wish I could have caught this on sale, but it came down to security and having up to date support from Microsoft.

Updated my 16 year old hp media center pc from windows xp to windows 10 home. Works like new. My computer just made the minimum requirements for windows 10. Only change was Updating the memory from 4 gig to 8 gig, which was not a problem.

When my older computer had a catastrophic hard drive failure my original Windows 10 software was trashed, so I purchased this Windows 10 product on a USB stick, After setting my BIOS to boot from USB this product installed the new version and it works just fine.

Works as intended, only down side is that you have to wait for a windows 11 invite. Nice that they include the usb stick. Great for new builds, especially for offline windows 10 installs.

five star - installed and works like new. good product. This is new and have been using for over 5 weeks and no problems. I purchased the solid state hard drive to go with it. Fastest internet speed I have ever had.

Windows 10 Home is... Windows 10 Home. You know what you are getting, and you probably just need it. We had a new build and needed an OS right now, and, as usual, Best Buy was there for us. In stock, good price, and helpful folks. 25 years ago, I quit going to Best Buy because of their abominable customer service. Well, they have fixed it and then some. They are my go-to for technology!

My son was building a PC, and he needs to install the OS. Easy installation and curbside pickup was a nice experience. I always had a nice experience with BestBuy. I went with Newegg before because it was cheap(OEM) and they never shipped the product, and they charged my Credit Card. I had to follow with the for a week before my money got returned. Buy at bestbuy, if you want to have a peace of mind. We have been this product over a month and no issues so far.

Got this for my son's computer since we've used linux for so many years and he's into games and stuff, so windows is compatible with most stuff these days. So far so good. He's able to download games and other stuff and organize better than before.

easy to install , I had windows 7 and a lot of software were slow or stopped working , with windows 10 , the pc came back to life again , all is running fine and smooth

Needed to upgrade my daughters netbook from Win 8 to 10 and wanted a fresh build as the Win 8 build from HP was buggy. This was quick to format the SSD, installed on a small SSD and after downloading the drivers the netbook has better performance and stability.

Product is good does what it says and is fast Windows 10 sucks only upgraded due to windows 7 not being compatible with the latest windows office Hate the way windows is pushing microsoft cloud and the filing system is terrible. Windows automatically trys to upload all your documents to the cloud and the cloud will get full fast and lose your documents from your computer because it wont fit on the cloud Seems like theyre pushing a subscription for more cloud space so they can bill you every month on the cloud every year on office and any other variants they can think of. It seems all companies are just finding ways to charge you for an incomplete product and charge finding ways to charge you for monthly or yearly subscriptions that you've already paid for. Time to switch to linux

This software is easy to download, set up on a flash drive, and I install in an old computer. The price is not great, but it is what you have to pay to get a legitimate copy of Windows 10.

Had to finally make the jump to Windows 10 to replace non supported Windows 7. Easy to upload but took a few precautions first. Made sure the hard drive was clean. For me I went with F secure. Second, I did a full external download of the system just in case. It meant I had to buy a larger external drive but worth it. Last, I went with Carbonite to do a complete internal back up. Then I uploaded the Windows 10 without any complications. All those other steps may sound like overkill to many, but my IT people strongly recommended it and so did the Geek Squad guru's at Best Buy. BTW..I am going to purchase their Total Tech Support package since Plum Choice has closed down. The price point is excellent.

Wasn’t sure if this was the product for me,but was suppressed and impressed at the convenience packaging and user friendly the thumb drive was.

i had to switch from Windows 7 to 10. I thought it was going to be a hassle but to my surprise it was pretty easy with the usb drive that held the program. the program works very well.

What other OS are you going to run? Linux? easiest to use and has all the drivers for my game machine. Wish it wasn't so expensive but don't want to go grey market

Installed this new version of Windows 10 over an older possibly corrupted installation. The installation was was successful without any problems. All data and settings were retained, and all apps were as before. I've used this product from Best Buy before for new build computers, and those all went trouble free. Just install from the USB stick supplied, go to your Microsoft Account, register the installation, and be up and running.

I needed to move my windows 7 desktop to windows 10. Although in my situation I went for in Clean install. Since moving to Windows 10, my PC is faster and is simpler to use

Bought this for a computer I'm building and I have no complaints. Works perfectly. Pricey, but with Best Buy price matching I can't complain.

Bought a PC without the windows media which I've never done before. Plus, I normally build my own. The PC had an image that I should've backup. Fast forward 2 years, it Blue screened. I had to run out and buy Windows 10. Thank God it comes on USB too. Since newer PC's have no DVD drives. lol The USB option is quick easy.
