WINDOWS 11 PRO - upgrade VS full version.

The product itself is 5 STAR.
My mistake was to buy the full version instead of an upgrade going from WINDOWS 11 to WINDOWS 11 PRO.
It would NOT load and since the package was opened and being software could not be returned for a refund.
After a few re-routes finally found a Microsoft HELP person who was able to resolve the issue and help me install the PRO version.
Kudos to the Microsoft tech who was able to help.
Bottom line - get the correct version, full or upgrade to avoid some excitement.

A very good operating system. A must have because Win10 will no longer be supported at the end of the year.

windows 11 comes on a bootable usb drive. its more convenient having it already on the usb and not having to download it from microsoft. i read windows 11 works better for the intel 12th and 13th gen cores because of the thread director so if you plan to upgrade to 12th or 13th gen, get it. the ui is a bit different than windows 10, the 'start' button is more in the middle left of the taskbar instead of the left side.

Fastest way to install Windows 11

Just a heads up, although this is the easiest and fastest way to install Windows OS the latest update requires a wifi/ internet connection. You can by-pass that through the console during set up so that you can continue and complete the installation. There are tutorials online on how to do that, which only requires a one-line command to run.

I'm happy to not have to worry about the key from another party. The salesman at his post was full of knowledge and helped me get what I needed. I asked for in usb and don't use dvd anymore. Needed Pro. And that is exactly what I was given. Superb! I'm Not a fan of digital record keeping.

It's Windows 11 Pro, what can anyone expect me to say in a consumer review that has not been said over and over by hundreds of more knowledgeable experts by now? Okay, perhaps, why did I pay full price for it when I could have gotten a shady, or even "free" code off of the internet? Because I was struggling with a new PC build and couldn't get my old Windows 10 (legitimate licensed copy) to even allow me to get started with basic system driver loads.
My real ire is for the ASUS motherboard retail version that is sold without any drivers included on, say, a USB drive. I'm a fairly advanced amateur PC person, and it took me way too much time and effort to get the new build up and running. If MB's came with functional LAN drivers I could have saved myself $200 by just upgrading my Windows 10. It was very frustrating.
