Are you out of your MindPosted
I upgraded my computer 30days ago to vista. Needless to say I have been without a computer for 30days also. I orgianlly had XP and a wireless card already installed. When I installed the all mighty VISTA it shut every system I had down. I called Microsoft support and they were no help. They kept passing me off to the makers of the computer or the makers of the wireless card. After much trail and anger it was finally determined that VISTA does not support Sprint Wireless cards. You heard me right. But here's the problem, when you first upgrade it checks to see if all current applications can be supported by VISTA. They message came back saying that the only thing I was required to do was delete my current Norton Virus. So I did. Then it gave me the go ahead to upload VISTA. VISTA IS A JOKE.

Vista is often mis-understood. When the Sprint cards first came out, they only supported XP, not Vista. That was not Vista's fault. The new Sprint cards work fine with Vista, so does Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile etc. Vista is a bit more resistant to certain viruses/corruption and the instant search feature is really nice. If you're looking for a basic system to browse the web and run newer standard applications, it's a great system. For those with older or proprietary software, XP may still be the choice until Windows 7 comes out.
