Same price as a normal XBox One controller, but it comes with a really long usb cable instead of batteries. Not much of an issue. In my opinion, it is the better way to go. I price matched it and saved 14 dollars. The controller feels very nice, though it isn't one of my favorites.

I really enjoy the new controllers and can game on them comfortably, I needed to get another controller and got this controller with the USB to use it with the PC, especially with the length of cable. A wireless adapter will come out later for PC, but cables are fine.

wasn't sure if the other xbox one controllers could work for the pc so to be safe I got this one. it works great for all my games from black ops 3, assassin's creed, and even supported online mmorpgs

The best all-around controller a person can have for any sort of gaming. Especially works well with PC gamers though the only downside is that you're going to be plugged into a USB. On the bright side, you don't have to worry about charging!

To clarify my review, I am running Windows 10 in a VM via Parallels. Had no problem using the hardware on my Mac with the the VM running. Works like a charm. Was very pleased.

The original controller for the system runs on batteries. The extra one we bought was great because it had a rechargeable battery so you don't have to worry about the batteries dying. You can plug it in while you play if you need to.

I have always been a keyboard and mouse but trying to switch to gaming. This works but I am still trying to determine if better than the xbox 360 controller. This is wireless for Xbox One, but on a PC it is wired. Another cable to deal with but it works. Now to try and setup a steam machine and see if it works on it.

This is for my laptop that happens to be 6 years old , I had window 7 upgraded to 10 and Xbox controller has been working flawlessly ! Got a great deal on it as well !

I bought this controller for use on my PC desktop for gaming purposes. Although used to using a keyboard and mouse combo, I've found it easy to adapt to using this very comfortable to hold controller. Everything is very responsive, and I can do multiple things much quicker than I can with the standard keyboard/mouse combo. This is especially helpful for movement, as things just tend to be more fluid in using this controller. Seems to be well made. A definite must-have for the serious gamer.

I bought this controller to play on PC and it has been working great with every single game I played so far! Totally recommended if you are searching to play your PC games with a controller.

I was looking for another controller to play multiplayer games with my friends. I went with the official Microsoft controller as I have found that they seem to have better durability than other makes.

I use it every day with my Windows 10 gaming desktop. It works natively for a lot of games that were originally designed to be played with a controller (mostly ported games through Steam).

If you are running windows 8, the controller works right out of the box. there are no drivers to download.

It's great that Microsoft created this Joystick for the PC. I get the great comfort of the console system on my Gaming PC. Excellent !!!!

It is needed since it is still battery operated unless you want to play with the cord hanging out the back. But the good thing is that now you can use rechargeable batteries.

Well made product. For the price should include a rechargeable battery pack but I use it for my pc so the cord is required for use anyway (no batteries required).

Gets the job done and can be used for PC. Son's been gaming for years and wanted this for his PC. Very reasonable price compared to other xbox one controllers.

It is what it is. Works exactly as described. Only down fall is if your use to PS4 controllers this controller does feel a little bulky but wont take long to get use to it.

I've been a Playstation guy since the PS1 came out in the 90s. However, I switched to PC gaming about 2 years ago and never looked back. The only problem was finding a controller, which was temporarily solved with a Dualshock 4 and DS4/Inputmapper. Windows 10 came out and I could no longer use the Dualshock 4, so I picked up an Xbox One controller and wireless adapter. Works great, and I am so much happier with this controller. Great purchase.

We bought this as a second controller when we purchased our new XBOX One. This controller is much improved from the XBOX 360 controller we used to have.
