    Not that great.

Bought this to replace a full-size Logitech keyboard. It's smaller, so the key placement is not exactly where expected. The gestures are a nice feature, if the track-pad actually worked the way it was supposed to. Half the time it either is too sensitive for mouse clicks, selects the wrong gesture option, or simply doesn't track at all like I'm dead - I don't understand how it can detect the slightest tap, but can't track properly; ridiculous. It often stops tracking during the middle of dragging, and then you need to try swiping again, or it's like you need to use a specific part of your fingers for a gesture. The left- and right-click buttons are not raised so you sometimes need to look down to see where they are. This may make the keyboard more streamlined and pretty too look at, but from a design perspective it's a huge flaw. For a track-pad that was meant to be a complete replacement for my mouse, this is a total FAIL! I thought I was going to be pleasantly surprised by how it works and improves how I interact with my PC-TV combo once I got home and installed it, but instead I was just hugely disappointed. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because: 1. it's a wireless keyboard, and 2. the keyboard functions. I'm already considering returning it and getting a Logitech keyboard instead.

In my line of work, I have to create various environments in which different configurations of equipment is required and in many of them, I need a simple, yet effective, keyboard/mouse combo. The Microsoft Wireless All-In-One combo is by far the best compact product on the market. Prior to my purchase, I was using the Logitech K400 wireless combo. The Microsoft combo construction, key layout, and stroke depth is better than the Logitech. If I had to have a single complaint about the Microsoft, it is that I wish there was a way to lock the keyboard into function key mode. All of the function keys have to be accessed via the Fn+FKey combo which is a pain when you are a software developer and need to debug using keyboard shortcuts. Overall, it gets an excellent rating due to the construction and ease of use. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

    Not what I'd hoped for

This keyboard is okay, but it's not what I hoped for. I like the keyboard itself just fine. The keys are well spaced, visually appealing, and responsive. The touchpad is another story entirely. The touchpad is erratic and routinely misreads gestures. The cursor will periodically jump to the bottom of my screen for absolutely no reason. Right clicks and left clicks often get mixed up if you don't click them at their farthest edges (since both right click and left click are the same physical button). I switched to this from a Logitech K400 keyboard. If I could take the keyboard from this device and combine it with the touchpad from the K400, I would have the perfect keyboard. As it stands, neither device really shines.

This keyboard works really well when it comes to typing. The keys are solid and easy to push, but not too easy. Also the build quality is absolutely excellent. It has that weight to it that just feels solid. Unfortunately where this keyboard lacks is in the trackpad. While the material feels great on the fingers, the tracking performance is average. Ive had multiple accounts of wanting to click on something, and then all of a sudden the pointer jumps a couple inches away. Luckily this issue is so infrequent, it doesn't cause me any real headaches. All in all, great looking and performing (keyboard) at a great price.

Ordered it on 12/16. It was to be delivered in 2 days but UPS took one extra day. No big deal. Setting it up was a piece of cake - simple plug and play. I keep my laptop about 8 feet away from my sofa, and the keyboard has no problems connecting to it. Its track pad is large, so moving the pointer becomes easier and the pad also acts like left mouse button, very useful when selecting by single/double click - just tap once or twice on the pad. Another good feature is the volume control bar on the left. The board is very light, feels a bit flimsy and non-solid, but nothing to complain about. Overall - good for the price.

This keyboard does the exact job I need it to do, a simple wireless keyboard/mouse/trackpad for my PC attached to my TV. It allows me to do simple browsing, check email, watch streaming media online, all from the comfort of my couch without any annoying wires. The reception is good from my couch, but I don't live in a mansion, so take that with a grain of salt. Distance is good up to 15 feet (no reason for me to check any further because I'd be in the other room behind a wall). I can't see it being well suited for typing documents or working on complex spreadsheets, but for my purposes, this keyboard fits the bill just fine.

I was able to set up this wireless keyboard in less than a minute with an older dell laptop. The keyboard is light and includes a nano USB adaptor rather than a larger bulkier one, which is a nice feature. The touchpad is very responsive and accurate. The keyboard is responsive as well. I tried a wireless keyboard from Logitech that was $10 cheaper, but I had compatibility issues with it and just stuck with the Microsoft. As I said above, I think it could be a tad cheaper. I paid $39.99, but overall I am happy with it. I would recommend this keyboard. I bought it because my laptop keyboard is damaged.

Bought this keyboard for use with my amazon fire tv. Had a friend recommend the logitech k900. Both keyboards seem similar and were on sale for the same price. Settled on this one mainly because I liked the look (no funny blue lines) and the setup better. I'm glad I did. The on/off switch is a great feature and the keyboard is intuitive and had zero connectivity issues. Build quality is fantastic and it matches my fire tv perfectly. Definitely would choose the same keyboard again, it was exactly what I was looking for.

I use this keyboard with a desktop that is connected to my TV. I watch a lot of streaming TV, and I browse the web a lot. My Logitech keyboard failed, and I needed a new keyboard. I like this one because it's compact. It fits easily on my coffee table. I use a separate mouse, but I'll also use the trackpad when mouse is out of reach. The keyboard is responsive, and the trackpad scrolls well. I miss the dedicated number pad. However, I sacrificed the keys for a keyboard that fits much better for the space where it's used.

We have this keyboard for a computer in our kitchen area (monitor is wall-mounted, tower hidden). It's kind of a sleek-looking smaller keyboard, which suits us because we didn't want a big clunky keyboard on the peninsula. It's easy to type on, and the keys have a good feel. It has the track pad, which works great, but due to habit, we have a separate mouse that we tend to use. I think this keyboard is a good choice for kitchen, bedroom, living room, etc., basically anywhere a desk isn't.

This keyboard is a true lifesaver, when my computer control keys broke i had no idea what to do so i decided to stop over to best buy and somebody recommended this keyboard. It is truly a wonderful keyboard to type on, flat and simple looks modern, the only problem is the trackpad i would definitely recommend getting a mouse with this. Otherwise it is sleek great on batteries have had for about 3 months or so only replaced them twice. Not much not to like about this keyboard.

This is a nice little compact keyboard. I record Voice Overs professionally and use this in my home studio. The design combining the trackpad on the keyboard allows me to use keyboard and mouse functions from my lap without needing a desk for the mouse. I record using Cubase and ProTools customized the keyboard shortcuts a little since there are a few keys missing (like the number pad) to keep the keyboard small and compact. Works great. Includes USB wireless receiver.

Perfect keyboard layout, very large touchpad, the "left click mouse button" at the top left corner of the keyboard is really handy. as well as the volume rocker under it. I don't like that it uses AAA batteries, the wireless signal from the receiver is kind of poor, I had to get a USB extension cable to bring it from around the back of the PC to the front and it still occasionally hiccups in operation from about 10 feet away. Good enough for a media PC.

Very happy with my purchase. Compact, light and the wireless range is very good. Recognized by Windows, Android or Linux OSes. It's missing some keys that are found on a standard keyboard but its too be expected. The touchpad can get a little annoying but it generally works well and probably the best option for the living room. I don't see why someone would want to lug around a keyboard and a mouse. A small keyboard with a touchpad is probably your best bet.

This keyboard is very well designed and pretty handy to use. It has got very good reception too. I use it from a 12 Feet distance in my hall. I don't know about the battery life since it is too early to say but i don't worry about it a lot. I currently use it on Windows 10 Tech Preview. The keyboard and the mouse pad really work very well and the keys are designed to eliminate any dust cavities also to prevent water from getting into the keyboard.

I was looking for a wireless keyboard with an integrated touchpad so I could easily control my desktop PC while connected to a TV via HDMI. I chose this Microsoft keyboard over the equivalent Logitech one because they review about the same but I trust Microsoft keyboards more and because this one has a larger touchpad. I'm not at all disappointed in this keyboard, despite its occasionally touchy touchpad. It works well, especially for the money.

takes a bit to get used to (maybe cause it's on my lap ?) works fine so far. i space and leave it on often, forgetting, but it somehow still powers up. i suspect batt drain is minimal, keys feel good. got this cause a laptop shot out it keys, two really. and instead of a replacement keyboad. i can use this with all three, plus bein a musician, i can set it by the piano, and control Audacity etc. good deal

This is the perfect keyboard for my home media center that I have setup. Don't need a mouse (since the trackpad works great), and everything is wireless so I don't have to be near my computer. I have this connected to my Mac Mini and it works great. The response for the keys and trackpad are good (not excellent, but you can't expect too much for the price). Does exactly the job that I need it to do.

I got this keyboard when I picked up my laptop and realized the LCD was cracked. Now I leave my laptop connected to my TV and use it from my couch. This was the perfect solution. The mouse is decent - not the best. The keyboard feels really nice and sits well in your lap. When I power on the keyboard with it's power switch it also wakes my computer which is pretty awesome.

I've tried several wireless keyboards for my computer in my entertainment center and this is by far the most responsive, smoothest keyboard. The price point is also great. I really haven't had the need to try the more expensive options, but for what I needed this device, it exceeded my expectations. I've been using it for about 2 months now and am very happy with it.
