I thought this product was spectacular. What I used this product with was my surface pro 4 running Windows 10 and I had zero issues connecting it. The quality of the stream was perfect there were no delay between the two devices I would recommend it to anyone wanting to use their computer on any tv.

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro and a Sony LCD TV at home. The Wireless Display Adapter worked right out of the box with little fuss. A must have for any road warrior who doesn't want to deal with wires and setting up a laptop to a monitor =)

This little gadget will let you stream audio and video to your TV (or other display) directly from your laptop (wirelessly). It's great for being able to Big Screen whatever you're watching on your laptop. Just make sure you have Windows 8 (which is when the Miracast technology was first added to Windows).

The wireless adapter does the job advertised, transmitting both picture and sound to an external monitor, TV, or projector. If sound is amplified right at that external monitor or TV, no problem. A challenge arises, however, when I attempt to broadcast video to my projector (that doesn't have a headset/external speaker jack) while plugging an amplification system directly into my laptop's headset jack. Sight and sound become slightly out of phase, with the visual of the projector slightly lagging behind the laptop's sound.

The is the best tool I have bought recently. Far better than Chrome Cast. You can use your PC/Laptop to stream any content on the screen, you can also use your TV as second screen side by side in addition to your computer's screen.

This worked as designed helping me project my Surface Pro 2 to a remote monitor. Unfortunately, I was unable to use it the way I wanted as the projector in my classroom was just old enough to not have either a hdmi or a usb port. I have used it to project to my hdmi TV and it works great!

A little pricey for a companion device, but it works great. As someone who travels for a living, its nice to have something that works well on hotel TVs (unlike Chromecast). Only possible negative, is make sure you have a usb port open on the TV (for power) fairly close to a free HDMI port

This has Apple AirPlay beat by a long shot. Plug it in to your TV. If your device supports Miracast, then you are good to go. I hooked it up to my TV and in just a couple minutes.... I projected my Phone's screen (Lumia 1520) and showed Netflix I projected my Surface Pro 3's screen and did a presentation My friend projected his Android phone to the TV Then I took it to work, hooked it into the projector and did my presentation completely wirelessly. That was a good and bad thing....Good (well, great really) that it "just worked" but bad that no one was interested in my presentation anymore. They all wanted to see this thing work. Worth every penny!

I have a new 32" Samsung Smart TV and and new Asus Q552UB laptop. I want to be able to use the TV as a second monitor in my small den/office room. With a full resolution TV, this is a great option to dual-task the TV without having to get a big monitor. I though going wireless would be great. At first I could not get the laptop to talk to the TV through this adapter. Then I got it to work, and then it would not stay connected for more than a couple of minutes (or less!). The resolution was not high quality when I did get connected. I did not spend time with the Geek Squad to trouble shoot, so there may have been a solution - but for something that seemed so simple, it should just be able to work. I returned the thing and am just wired in with an HDMI cable which works great and with a wireless key board and mouse, I still have the freedom that I want to sit on the couch and control the laptop.
