I was convinced I needed this so i could increase my screen size very easily and wireless on a hotel TV or monitor

Works pretty well, but on HD videos it tends to lag a little. Easy to install and use, specially for presentations

Overall it works as expected. Not amazing though. If you have a low end processor, even if it's supported, it is basically unusable to watch a movie. As in it will be constantly cutting in and out. With a better processor like an i5 it works well enough. Still some occasional lag and sometimes audio is off timing but works enough to get through a show. I'd like to see support with an app for iOS. Mac seems to do a better job with their AirPlay to Apple TV overall.

I like that I can use my TV as a big monitor when I want, so I use my laptop and do stuff for the whole family to see on the TV from my Surface Book. I also like it when I travel, as I can stream movies to the TV in the hotel room for the whole family easily.

I have two TV's at home - Samsung and Vizio. I am able to connect my windows phone, laptop with Windows 8.1 and LG tablet V410. I really prefer this to the Netgear PTV devices. I wish the connection distance could be much longer. when i connect my laptop in my office to the TV at the family room, once in a while it get disconnected. If i bring it over to the family room it works without any disconnection. Its a great device for using my TV as my extended desktop.

this add on to my surface pro 3 works great and is easy to use. overall, it is built well and is easy to store.

I have used it a couple of times so far and it is easy to use. Great for presentations at customer premise.

Works fairly easily. All you do is plug it in and follow the simple steps to connect to your computer.

What a neat product and does exaxtly what it is supposed to do. I think it should be a little less pricey.

It seems to kick me out of the system quite a bit as compared to when streaming through an Apple TV.

Sometimes it will only show video and no sound.The video and sound are great when both are working.

If you want to very easily mirror your laptop screen to your TV, then this is the product for you !

I bought this device so I could stream movies for my kids to the Tv from my laptop without having to use HDMI cable. The device works perfect and was easy to set up. The device was on sale when I bought it, and I would say it was money well spent.

The salesperson was not very knowledgeable about exactly what we needed. We ended up purchasing the wrong item. We had to make an additional trip to the store to get the correct one. Once we had the correct item it was easy to install and works well.

Since i reviewed the wrong item the first time, i'll throw a few sentences out about this. It's great!. So nice and easy to use that my 80 yr old father has taken it from me to use for himself. Will most certainly pick up another for myself.

easy to use, just plug it in and start watching video on your TV instead of on the computer screen.

Works ok. Some flaws with the connection on multiple windows machines. Once it's up, it works.

This is my second MS Wireless Video Adapter. The first worked 2-3 times and would no longer connect to my surface3. Tried reseting but it would sit with the 3 processing dots for a longe time until you remove the adapter and leave the USB connected then re-install the adapter to bring it to a ready state. From a ready state it still would not connect.
