this projects my surface to a large screen tv to share with others

We used this to display our surface screen on the television. It works well. We like it so much and it is so easy to use that we are considering getting them for both sets of in laws to use as well.

It is not necessary but useful if you have it to run your device.

I love this product. I have a Surface 3 and it worked with no problems. Worked so well that I brought two more for my friends and they loved them too.

Easy to setup and less wires means no mess - Only for windows.

In principle, this is an awesome device. So far it has worked about half of the time. It seems to get messed up when showing video but works ok during powerpoints. I suspect part of it has to do with my wifi connection because I keep getting an error message about the device and my wifi being on different channels. Oh well, will keep testing!

Little slow on mouse but good for videos. A little hard to setup.

The adaptor is the simplistic way to make great use of the big screen TV to do a little extra with on the laptop without being stuck to your office. Enjoy the couch and a relax while working.

Bought this to use with my Samsung Galaxy S5 and unfortunately it doesn't work with that phone. It worked really good with my Asus windows tablet but that's not what it was purchased for, so it was returned. Yes I would recommend this to a friend, if that friend doesn't have a S5.

This is a great product for connecting to a monitor wirelessly.

If you want to display your tablet or phone on your TV this is an EXCELLENT solution. Just make sure your device supports Miracast otherwise you'll be wondering why it doesn't just work. I have two devices the Microsoft Wireless and a Netgear Neo device that uses WIDI. The Microsoft solution just works every single time I connect. The works with more then just the Surface Pro. I have an HP Stream 8 tablet and a WIDI capable Samsung Tablet, and it works with both. The Best B uy rep said it only worked with the Surface Pro, so he didn't know what he was talking about. Bottom line - this is an EXCELLENT Miracast adapter and I highly recommend it for both home or business usage.

Five stars is not enough to rate this product! It is easily installed in less than two minutes. It is so nice to be able to view on the big TV screen all of the content from my tablet!

I have one at home, office, and in my Surface bag for the road. It was super easy to connect/setup. It's good for sharing at the office, as well as when I need a large screen when traveling.

Able to mirror the screen from my Dell Venue 8 Pro with ease.

This works great on my Microsoft Surface, Asus Tablet, and my Samsung phone. I have used it on multiple TV with no errors in video or sound quality. One of my best gadget purchases!

Using this with a MS Surface Got this on sale at Best Buy store and works as advertised, tried a generic wireless adapter and had issues, I recommend the Microsoft model. Easy setup.

Good product at a fair price. Does lag a little at times

This device works well for broadcasting the video from my Surface to a TV or Projector. Works right out of the box and is easy to setup. Wish it came with its own USB power cord though.

This device is easy to use for both home and on the go use.
