I have this item along with the Bluetooth mouse. It has a lag when the surface pro is thinking. Makes it hard to keep up with the mouse. I have tried it with a usb mouse and it seem to be better.

A previous product was sold to my employer and was the incorrect item and was not compatible with the computer being used. I had to quickly find another product that would meet our needs for a job fair we were attending. This item worked alright.

I purchased the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter for use with my new Surface Pro 4. It was simple to hookup to my Samsung TV (requires the use of 1 HDMI port and 1 USB port - both on the TV). Nothing to connect on the Surface Pro 4. Just use the Settings->Connect option to scan for the device. Once found, click on the device to connect the display. NOTE: If the top and/or bottom of the display are missing on the TV, download the free Wireless Display Adapter app from the Microsoft Store (on your Surface Pro 4). It will allow you to correct the HDMI Overscan issue on the TV.

Setup was simple and all worked ok for most items being transmitted to a large LCD TV. Did have some problems with interference in the image and not sure if it was the TV or the MS Surface I was using. Still pictures were fine but HI-Dev 1080p video seemed to be where the problem became evident.

I purchased this to use specifically with the Surface Pro 3. The SP3 will not connect to MWDA. It's shown by the Device Manager. I've tried all sorts of recommended fixes and it's still a no-go. It works fine however with an ASUS X205T.

This is a great piece of device that functions similar to Chromecast, but with Windows instead. No, it does not have identical function vs Chromecast, however, it is the closest that you can find. Still, an excellent choice if you are into Windows gears and love some casting action.
