In a nutshell, this product completely eliminates the need to have a box for any of the cable providers that provide apps/web browser connectivity to your entertainment content. Unlike my Apple products that Showtime and a few other won't allow me to "directly connect" with a HDMI cable and peripheral to my iPad or MacBook (i.e., AppleTV,) this product wirelessly transmit EVERYTHING to your TV without any latency. It's amazing and everyone should get one with their Microsoft (e.g. Surface) products.

I absolutely love my wireless display adapter. I use it with my surface and it's fast and minimum lag between computer and screen.

I am using this adapter to present from a Surface Pro 3 to a TV screen. It works very well, and I have no complaints. I like not being limited by connecting cables from my laptop to the TV, and having its power source through the USB from the TV. If you don't have a USB port in your TV, plug the adapter into a standard USB phone charger and plug that into an extension cord connected to a nearby outlet.

The display adapter works just fine. If you download the adapter app, just follow the suggestions, and it works like a champ.

My son already has one of these and he had no trouble getting mine hooked up. Fun to see family pictures on the big TV screen.

Bought this to use with monitor at trade shows and really like not having to tote bulky connections around. Works as advertised.

I bought this with the anticipation of using it for my office. my computer runs windows 8 however Lenovo desktops or at least mine wasn't able to connect. I'm sure it works well with the right computer.

This allows me to display my Surface on any display with HDMI inputs. Works great for several devices (projector, laptop, etc.).

Great way to mirror screen for presenting! Worth noting it works for all miracast enabled devices, not just the MS Surface.

Use this for presentations with my Surface 3 and sharing stuff on my Note 4 with the family on the big screen. Works Great!

It is so easy to use and its amazing to be able to project anything from your computer tom your TV.. Highly recommend it.

This is great for those old flat screen TV's that still work perfectly, but just don't have that Miracast technology that allows newer phones, tablets, tablet/laptop hybrids like Microsoft's Surface Pro 3, laptops etc., to connect to a big screen television wirelessly. Also, if you are a professional that travels a lot to do presentations and want to look fancy at your conference room meetings that have a big screen TV, just hook this adapter up to it and impress everyone at the meeting.

Very cool. I used to use WiDi, but the new technology is even easier. Love being able to send the picture to the TV easily.

This item was so easy to install and use. There was simply no way to get it wrong. The very definition of plug and play.
