Great for video/mirroring

Easy tech for road warriors

You do NOT need an active WiFi internet connection to use this which makes it amaze-balls for doing presentations in an internet deprived area. Range can be limited. But was at least 14 feet with no blocking lime of sight.

Works great, when it works

That's when I learned that this unit has a history of issues. To be fair, Best Buy told me that I need to go to the Microsoft Store that was a few miles away but I didn't have time for that and needed a reliable connection so I just bought a cord. Oh, and the mini video connection on the Surface Pro 3 is NOT the same as a mini-HDMI connection.
