Periodically disconnects without reason. When it stays connected it works well.

Used this device for my manager's company laptop. Using the device to beam to a TV rather than paying hundreds of dollars for a projector. Fairly simple setup, had to do some tweaking since we are using Windows 7.

This adapter Is really handy for watching videos or anything that you don't interact with. if you plan to use this so you can use your tv as a monitor I would not recommend it. There is lag between what's on the surface pro and what shows up on your tv.

Worked good on my Windows 8 laptop, but not yet on my other Windows 10 units.

I actually previously purchased this item, but returned it because I couldn't get it to work with my Surface and windows 8.5. I just upgraded to Windows 10 and repurchased and it now works perfect. i love it, being able to put my surface screen onto my 60" TV is awesome.

it works well. If it's not working, it's probably because your TV is outdated.

The adapter works exactly as advertised. No extensions required on my Vizio TV to connect both USB power and HDMI. Pairs easily with both Surface Pro 3 and Nexus 5 phone. Maintains connection without dropping.

Quick connection, wish I could find an adapter to convert the signal to vga to use on my classrooms projector.

Wish it was a little faster with the display. I like it. Does what it says it will, and the display is clear.

Needed this to adapt my computer to a larger video device for a presentation. Did the job at a reasonable price.

Works good this is my 2nd one lost my first one. Don't forget to take it out of the TV if your not at home

This device works great if it is linked to high speed internet and has no firewalls impeding it's connection.

Seems to work OK tried out sling tv picture not as good as I hoped for but that is due to poor internet speed.

It met all requirements. I have only tested it on my local monitor in close range and it performed well.

We use the wireless adapter to connect our classroom tablets to the tvs in order to show instructional videos to the children. The teachers and children were thrilled with the resources available to them.

I love this little guy. Now, I don't need to string a 10 foot HDMI cable between my TV and the computer when I want to put my photos on the big screen HDTV. I don't know what the competition has, or has not, but this does it for me at a fair price. I just want my computer screen replicated on the TV, and wirelessly. Sure beats the past experiences. I like MS stuff and feel comfortable wit the brand.

After some technical issues, my lack of understanding, this device worked flawlessly. Recommend before using this in any device to installed the free app. Works well, sounds, great and display is amazin.

This is an excellent way to connect laptops to big sceen TV's. More people need to use this function !

The sales associate at Best Buy recommended this product. I was looking for something to project my laptop screen to a new TV. He told me it would work with Windows 7 (it does not). It is supposed to work with Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. I did a 6 hour upgrade to Windows 10. Then spent 6 hours between phone and online chat with Microsoft. They could not figure out why the adapter was not being recognized by the computer. It was not a faulty device but a problem with Windows 10. They said they would refer the case to their research department and get back to me (they never did). 3 weeks later I called, had to re-explain the issue, they still couldn't figure it out so I went back to Windows 7 and will now be buying a Chromecast. My laptop is a Dell Inspirion. I would highly recommend not buying this product.
