Best Wireless Display Adapter! Simple Setup!

I've used a few different wireless display adapters and so far this is definitely the best. Very impressed by the quality of the display, even with video streaming. Have had a few issues that required me to disconnect and reconnect, but I did not have Windows up to date, or the app for the device (which they recommend). I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a wireless display adapter. VERY SIMPLE TO SETUP.

With very good reviews from customers . I decided to buy me one because it is on sale for 50% off . It very easy to set up and get it running ; It worked very good for first couple hour .After that it keep flicked and dropped ; so I had to unplug to reset , sometime is working and sometime is not , liked it has mind on it owned . It is more annoying to keep using it ; so I go back to HDMI.

Nothing to set up, just plug it in and connect to it from Windows 8/10. Much better then unreliable Chromecast, almost as good as AirPlay.

Well worth the purchase. It works without connecting to a WiFi network, which makes it excellent for presentations on the road. It also allows you to use your television as a second screen. I would however recommend that you at least have a 1080P HDMI television.

Not so great for school work. The device worked almost immediately. Had to go to the Screen settings in Windows to detect the device. Once found, my tablet was projected to the screen. It was great. As already mentioned, if you are trying to use this device to establish a workstation I recommend using a wired connection. This wireless adapter created a large lag-time that quickly became frustrating. I exchanged tis device for a wired VGA adapter.

Being able to connect my surface Pro 3 wirelessly instantly without cables if so awesome. Being able to do a presentation walking around in the conference without cables is without a doubt really nice. Easy to setup and easy to activate with a couple clicks.

I read some reviews about the lag on this device but the reviews were overall high star values so I thought it was just a few bad experiences being mentioned. Well, if that's the case, I'm another bad experience. I try to use it for watching Hulu or other TV shows from my computer but the screen either goes grainy or it has a lag. It also disconnects from time to time. I would say that 25% of the time it works flawlessly. 50% of the time it is just delayed or slightly grainy. And 25% of the time i end up turning it off and just watching the program on my 13" screen. I anticipated buying another to sync my computer screen with a larger monitor, but it disconnected too frequently, so it wasn't reliable for that purpose either. I also hoped to use this feature for presentations at work, but it's too unreliable for that. I would love this product if they could improve these features, but I will not be buying another one of these. I'm still considering returning this one.

The product works great with Windows 10 only if you had upgraded from Windows 8.1. I found out the hard way with computers that had been upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. It just does not work. It works like a champ if you have a system that has/had Windows 8.1!

It works as built and advertised. It is a bit glitchy at times, but does well for movies and online content through a browser. Once the computer display goes to sleep, the adapter must be reconnected. It doesn't seem to remember the connection. Since its Microsoft not sure if its a feature or a problem.

Read a few reviews online before buying, under the impression it is a plug and play. It pretty much was, but took a few tries. Now working pretty well, but still don't know why it didn't work first. It just magically worked later. Good thing is it doesn't require your home WiFi network, so you can surf on your laptop on the home WiFi while projecting things onto the big screen.

So my firewall from ESET needed a rule. Your techs spent hours and never solved problem or thought to disable fire wall. I can believe I was the first with this problem? ESET remoted on to my lap top and create a rule. There should be a fricking warning on the box. Microsoft sucks at all things, go Apple. Once we gt product to work it works OK if you keep PC close. Use a cable.

Whether I'm using a sketchpad app to illustrate a complex issue with a client or making a Powerpoint or video presentation to a group of people, being wireless allows presentation on a large screen to the audience and freedom of movement. However, the adaptor does get very warm after an extended period of operation which may limit the durability of the product over time.

I purchased this so I can use it with my surface pro 3. I was told that I couldn't use my surface pro with WiDi and that I had to use miracast which is what this device basically is. I was able to project my surface pro through it but it lagged quite a bit. I tried watching a movie and the devices were only about 8 to 10 feet from each other. The movie kept freezing and the image kept getting distorted. I got frustrated and decided to just unplug it. Besides this little device not working very well, I didn't like that you do not have another option for sound except through its own hdmi. I contacted Microsoft and they couldn't really tell me why out didn't work well and suggested I just plug my surface pro directly through an hdmi cable. That defeats my whole purpose of being wireless. In any case, this device didn't work for me and kept looking into other options. I eventually figured out that I can connect through Intel WiDi and that seems to work much better. I can't really recommend this little device to anyone since it didn't work for me.

We bought this on a spur of the moment, but really like it. We often like to stream movies off our laptop so this makes it much easier to stream from the laptop to the TV without having wires and cords hanging all over the place. It took a couple times to get it connected properly but it is an awesome thing to have if you don't like having USB cords all over.

Unlike Chromecast, this device does not require a WiFi signal or Google specific apps to project your smartphone or computer image. If you have an android phone with miracast or windows 8, it will project anything you want directly onto your tv with no lag or resolution loss at up to 20'. It's functions exactly like a basic HDMI cable would. The only knock I have is the horrible manner in which it is advertised. Most people are not going to realize how much better it is than Chromecast, and it's twice the money. In this case though, you get what you pay for.

Great for mirroring SP3 desktop to TV, and you can see mouse movement and everything. The only problem I've found is that there is some notable lag with video playback, but that could be due to my wireless router.

I honestly didn't know how often I would be using this with my Surface Pro 3, I use it a lot now for school and for home, that way I can watch what I'm doing without having to look at my screen on my Surface Pro 3. Great for when you want to do Powerpoints and show others how to do things as well. Very easy set up and I like that.

Plugged into an HDTV and it worked perfect. Really liked the included extended power cord (I had to use this to make the adapter physically fit). Upgraded my two year old Win 8 laptop to Win 10. Adapter setup in Win 10 is easy. It should work with any laptop that had Win 8 or 10 installed by the manufacturer. It didn't work with 5 year old Win 7 laptop that I upgraded to Win 10 (probably due to 3000 series graphics chip).
