great adapter! Easy to use! Hooked it up to a tv so I could do a presentation with my surface pro 3!

I have tried several Miracast devices over the past year or so. This Microsoft miracast dongle is okay. I like that the USB power is part of the unit instead of a loose USB cable. However, the sound sync on videos I try to cast from my Note 10.1 (2014) is always off. It may work fine on other people's devices, just not my setup apparently.

This is a very handy item for usage with my 2 in 1 device and surface pro. The transitional connection phase could be quicker but overall a good item to have.

This does mirror the image to your tv but know this will automatically adjust the resolution and cause several programs to not display correctly. Especially if you use non Microsoft products to conduct them. If all you want is Netflix then it would probably be fine.

like the fact can image my computer into tv w/o struggle or hassle. device warms to much, have to disconnect when not in use

I use this adapter with my surface pro 3 and my android devices and it works like a charm.

I'm using the Surface Pro 4 running Windows 10. This worked fine until I downloaded the app from the store (Wireless Display Adapter) and ran the firmware update. I suppose it's possible that the issue is with the SP4 (there have been several). Sometimes this works alright, but most of the time it's very "laggy", and loses connection. Hopefully, this will improve with an update or something, but as of right now, it's certainly not worth $50. www.SurfacePro3TechReviews.com

Works perfectly with HTC one M8 and Samsung 25" monitor. Easy setup. Now have movies anytime.

Works well with my Surface book, makes projection to TV or a Bluetooth projector simple.

This adaptor doesnt work well for my surface pc, it continously is disconecting and conecting when I use the display.
