I tried this on 3 different windows 8.1 machines and it did not work properly. I ensured I had the latest updates and all requirements and even had Microsoft remote in to my PC (this was new for me as I never have any issues with any equipment for PCs). They said they were stumped and could not figure out why the settings were not showing. I even did a full factory reset ..No Go.

Works perfectly with my Venue 8 Pro and Surface 2. Perfect for presentations and training sessions. Just plug it in to the projector and I'm good to go. At home works perfectly to cast onto the TV for videos and movies.

We bought this gizzmo with our tablet and no one at the store made any effort to explain to us how to hook it up. Ended up being real simple once we enlarged the Instruction sheet that came with the product - couldn't read it even with a Magnifying Glass - and hired an OUTSIDE Technician (not a BB Geek). First clue should have been told to us - your TV needed to have BOTH of the inputs - HDMI and something else - just to get started.

This adapter works good for showing your computer screen on TV, however transfer rate was a little to slow for smooth video transfer.

Inconsistent in transmission to a flat screen television and does not transmit sound. What's the point ? Video without sound.

Poor video performance; too much lag

I bought this wireless display adapter because I thought it would allow easy projection of my laptop screen to my TV. Unfortunately, there is too much lag in the video signal. This adapter reminds me of the FM transmitter used to listen to my iPod on an old AM/FM radio in the car. After using this product, I believe that a cable is a much better way to transfer the video signal to the TV.

hard to learn for novice. And again a better "owners manual" especially for the older gen. I prefer to read "how to"
