Used this item with my Surface Pro 3. Setup was very quick and easy. Bought another for a family member.

A great way to conveniently display your content on the TV. Worked great with my Surface Pro 3.

Unfortunately when I connected the device my router was knocked out of service thus I had no internet connectivity. It may have been the router I use or who knows what. I was able to restore my router but I returned the wireless display to Best Buy.

Product works as described. Very useful for putting movies, powerpoints and everything else up on the big screen. Would recommend to friends and famly .

Very poor. I have had nothing but problems with purchasing best buy key pad for my surface, they would not return it and said I had to go thru microsoft. The same with this wireless device. Not real fond of Microsoft products thru best buy.

Broadcasts audio and video effortlessly to an HD TV. Make sure to get the adapter app from the Windows Store so you can adjust scaling of the spectral display.

This new product does not miss a beat. It works like a charm. Easy and reliable.

I had to buy this because my surface pro display port broke. it is all about a good internet speed to get good picture

I have a Surface Pro 3 and an HP Specter 13t-3000. Both can connect to the MSFT wireless dongle after installing some updates to each computer. I believe the updates makes sure your computer has the appropriate software to make this work. I do not have an android device at home so I don't know how well it works with android devices. This is a miracast device so don't expect a chromecast or firestick. They are not the same type of product. What this is: The dongle lets you use the TV, projector, anything with an HDMI in, act as a second screen for your surface, laptop, or phone as long as your devices support miracast. That last part is key. Performance: The closer the computer is to the dongle the more bandwidth there will be between the computer and dongle. More bandwidth means smooth video and sound. I have this installed in on a TV at the end of a 22 foot room and I can place my computer at 10-11 feet and not have stuttering problems with HD video. Why watch videos on a little screen when you can see it on a projector or TV without any wires between your device and the screen? The Surface connects every time. The HP connects 80-90% of the time. Maybe better now after going through the WP8.1 app setup again. Yes there's an app that is on the windows store to help with the connections and to update firmware of the dongle. I would give this 5 stars if I had full 22 Ft range with smooth 1080p streaming. As you move further back, you can still use the dongle to connect to the surface to do PowerPoint and act as a second screen. There are range limits that I have not tested to. So it's a 1st gen Microsoft product. Not to bad for gen 1.

We use these in all our conference rooms, They work great, you may need to download the app if your machine is older.

When it works, it works great. After a few minutes it disconnects from the computer and I have to reconnect. After the 6 time in an hour I gave up on it.

The adapter had multiple firmware issues, and required updates and fiddling on a regular basis. Windows has since upgraded the product and released a new one, working great.

Bought this to use to watch videos from computer, tablet etc on TV. First it doesn't work with Windows 7. Must have 8.1. Also doesn't work with IPAD. At this point it is useless to me.

This adapter is just what I was waiting for to mirror my Surface to the tv.
