not good for Android
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft "says" works on Android 4.2.1 and above but it does not. I have four android devices and it only worked for one of them. ..a Nexus 7 tablet (2013) on 4.4.4 and/but.. even on the tablet that worked the video was often "smeared" and the audio choppy. I could get to work by overriding the defalut settings but within a minute or two it would default back to it's "auto" mode and then quit working... It's not ready for Android yet imho.. I don't have any compatible Microsoft hardware to test it with. Returned it today.

Just flat doesn't work with Surface Pro 4

Dependable but probably not the best

Try before you buy

It didn't work with my Yoga 13 or my Lumia Icon phone. I knew Miracast was something that wasn't prevalent, but I would have expected Windows 10 tech preview and the Lumia Icon to both support it; neither did. So make sure you either do a ton of research & reading to figure out if/where/when your device supports Miracast, or unbox this thing the second you get home and try it out. I ended up returning it.
