great product that performs as indicated
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product performs as indicated in the description and everything on my Surface Pro 3 displayed on my TV screen. It took a bit of work to get it to function but this had more to do with adjusting the tablet than the product.

Works Great with Surface 2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my daughters Surface 2 and it works perfectly. That's right, it's not a Surface Pro 2. It's a Surface 2 running Windows 8.1 RT Unfortunately, I asked two Best Buy Associates and they both said it wouldn't work with a Surface 2 running Windows 8.1 RT, they were wrong! I even called Microsoft and after being transferred to the Surface team they also said it wouldn't work. I figured let's try it and it was simple to connect. I plugged the adapter into my daughters TV, on the Surface 2 selected Devices > Project and find a device and viola, her Surface was now displaying on the TV. I hope this helps anyone else wondering if this would work with their Surface 2!

Wireless HDMI cable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Working with both Miracast on most current Android devices and Intel WiDi on newer mid-high end laptops/All-In-One PCs makes it a very versatile little device. Full Audio/Video streaming at 1080p. It only gets laggy well after the recommended ~20ft. range in ideal circumstances.

Works as intended

Great wireless display adapter!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best alternative of HDMI cable and video streaming is smooth. Supported by windows 10 and android devices. I'm really impressed with it.

Doesn't work with 2014 Macbook Pro on Windows 8.1
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible device - doesn't even get detected by Windows 8.1 on my 2014 Macbook Pro. Also, got very hot in 15 minutes of operation.

Great for mirroring without internet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great to be able to mirror your cell phone screen onto your TV without having to have internet. The only downfall is that it didn't work with the Samsung S6.

Works perfectly quick setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is very easy to setup. Installs quickly into the HDTV, then the pairing process is easy. Video displayed immediately. I did return it ONLY because I'm trying to solve my Quicken/Quickbooks issue on my Surface Pro 3 (while it runs the software you can't see the info on the screen). I was hoping the larger viewing issue would solve the issue.

Much needed device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally Microsoft has woken up and provided a great utility. I bought this device and paired it with Lenovo yoga pad 2. Was able to make it work after 1-2 restarts. The windows app "Microsoft wireless adapter" is required to adjust screen size being displayed. Some times Audio doesn't seem to use the TV as it chooses other playback devices and might confuse people. If this picks will make all other sticks void as this mirrors the entire PC screen and works with android mobile devices well.

Noooooo...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't waste your time - when you leave the Microsoft phone behind this cord becomes useless.. Buy a MHL to HDMI instead and you can use it with future purchases!

That was a disappointment.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do trivia night shows and wanted to use this to connect to a TV without having to run wires. I used it at home with no issues. A little latency, but nothing that was a deal breaker. The night of the show, this device became a nightmare. It kept disconnecting. I had to stop the show over, and over, and over again to reset the connection to the laptop. That was a deal breaker. I took it back. It needs to work every time. I will use wires from now on.

Cannot get it to work for more than a few seconds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried to use it to individually connect a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 i7 or a Dell AIO I7, each with Windows 8.1 and Windows Media Center to a Samsung PN58C550 58" Plasma. I was able to connect the Surface Pro 3 for up to 4 minutes at a time. I was not able to get the AIO to recognized the adapter. When I did connect with the Surface Pro 3, I would sometimes receive an occasional respectable picture with intermittent flickering, pixelating, and freezing. On one of the screen freezes, the sound continued as normal and the picture remained frozen on the screen even after I turned off the Surface Pro 3. In the 1.5 hours I spent trying to get it to work, it never maintained a connection over about 4 minutes. While attempting to use Windows Explorer, a wide horizontal line of red noise approximately 20% of the height of the tv screen flickered across the screen. It would not maintain a useable display for more than 4 minutes and then only once. Attempts to use the Surface Pro 3 were unobstructed line of sight at about 15 feet. Attempts to use the AIO were through two interior walls and between 15 and 20 feet.

Cool but.....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works very cool but they dont tell you that you need a open USB jack and HDMI for it to work.

Meh.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cool concept, but I don't think it works all that I great. It being wireless, slowed my internet down, plus the picture on the TV is choppy. Quite a few times I would have to reconnect because it would drop the signal. Took it back after the weekend of "use" and just went the old fashioned route with a 10 ft hdmi cable

Does not work for 1080i display.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to make a presentation. I was using a Microsoft Surface Pro-2 and was going to display a 1080i mpeg4 short video. I tested it on my TVs at the office and home. It must have interference from the TV because it does not work if placed more than 12 inches from the TV. If you move 6 to 7 feet away, the picture on the screen is pixelated and extremely delayed. At 20 feet, the picture is unrecognizable. If you must stay within 12 inches, then you might as well get a wired display adapter.

Product doesn't work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product would not work on my Surface Pro3. It would neither connect without daily reinstallation or stay connected, and even locked up my Outlook. Microsoft Help Desk was even worse. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone, simply a waste of money
