I'm using this to connect to a smart tv that's at little too old to have built in wireless. The connection is great and it's great not to have to put my laptop right next to the tv with a chord. On the other hand, I tried buying a 24-inch tv and using it to connect to my pc as an extended monitor, and it was a disaster. The quality was bad, there was something wrong with the sound (might have been the pc though), I downloaded the app and was able to fix a problem with the size but not the quality or sound issues. So... mixed review. Great if you're duplicating the screen. Not sure it's useful if you're trying to extend the screen.

It was working perfectly just as expected, but then I started to get screen tarring after having it hooked up for a couple of days. It's not perfect but it does what it says it does.

Super easy to set up, and far better than running cables. Had it drop one time from my Surface even though it had a clear shot to the TV, but other than that its been great.

Great to use with my surface for watching TV without having to have cable at my different homes. Use to watch my cable that is set up at home at other location like work, Use for presentation on TVs at the office, clients homes and place of business. Full screen use with great picture quality.

Was not very sure what I was going to do when I bought my new computer. My monitor has a VGA hookup and my new computer did not. I thought I was going to have to purchase a new monitor. When I went to Best Buy the salesperson told me to buy the Wireless Display Adapter and then I would still be able to use my old monitor. Saved me quite a few dollars.

Microsoft has a great product in its Wireless Display Adapter. It lets both Windows and Android devices connect with problems. Not having a need to WiFi to share your screen is huge. I like that it is not proprietary like other devices that look out for only their own bottom line. Working across platforms is a must these days for full integration (imho).

This adapter requires a miracast capable device. Before you purchase, verify that your device is miracast capable. I had to return it, as my laptop was not capable.

It's pretty cool and easy to connect - I really like it that you don't give up your wireless connection to your hotspot to connect to the transmitter as you had to do with some projectors. Let's me mirror one of my three screens to a TV for presentation and discussion off my desk. The issue I observed is that it loses connection at times, even though the distance isn't really far or obstructed (other than by the TV itself - since it's installed in its back) - if the trouble continue, I'll try to extend the transmitter and move it out behind the TV for better visibility and report back.

This cable worked well to project what is on my potable devices to my 55" tv. It does however drop connections from time to time which is a little frustrating.

My first experiences with WIDI was horrible. Now, with Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter it is simple to have your notebook screen and audio replicated in your TV. I am watching movies in my big TV, using my notebook connected to Internet. The first connection can take longer until your PC download all needed drivers, but after that, very simple to connect using Windows 8.1 notebook. If you have trouble on connecting later on, go to Windows 8.1, delete MS wireless display adapter from the list, and search for the device again. It will fix the problem, until MS find a definitive solution for that.

Does everything it is supposed to do. Plug and play capability. Drivers download in the background in less than 5 minutes and then you can use what ever device you want as a monitor. Just make sure there is a USB port is also on the monitor/projector. They give a USB extension cable so as long as the USB hub is on the device it's good.

Fairly easy to connect to my surface, although at first it takes a couple tries. Does not connect to my Lenovo Yoga 2 tablet. I don't think it's compatible.

I can easily connect my computer to my big screen TV in order to show pictures of my grandchildren to visitors. It is also a great way to go over spreadsheets of our budget and monthly spending summaries. My husband can sit comfortably and view to numbers with me on the TV. The device was easy to install and easy to connect to the computer.

I went in to best buy to buy a cord to connect my surface 3 table to a TV when at clients homes. Saw this product and decided to give it a try. Loved it so much that I ended up with 3 of them...one in the office,,,one on the tv at home...and one in my computer bag to take to clients homes. Don't know how I lived without this before!
