I bought this to be able to have a keyboard and mouse to share between my racing cockpit and a web surfing area. I chose it for it's many custom buttons that can be assigned to do some limited functions. Generally, this is a nice feature as you can have them open folders or surf to web locations, but with IE7, if you want to open a web page, it is going to open another tab for it. The key layout is taking some time to get used to. After decades of looking at a linear key layout, this one is just odd to me. Also, the 'DELETE' key, Pg Up/Pg Dn, Home, End keys are not very logical. Built-in zoom I am finding useful. That's a surprise. Tha mouse feels good, but again, I have used an Intellipoint for so long, having the Fwd and Back buttons on opposite sides of the mouse it proving hard to get used to. By far the most debilitating thing about it is it's range. I couldn't get more than 4 feet away from the transceiver without losing signal. The manual says 6'. Ended up having to put a 6' USB extension on it and place it between the two stations to have it work right. A work-around for sure from what I had hoped. I may still return it for the Logitech with Bluetooth. Overall, I like it. The keyboard feels good, but the jury is still out on it.

I needed a replacement keyboard as the original one that came with my computer finally decided to falter out (mouse went already). I had found the one I wanted online, but the store didn't have it. I find it a bit odd that you cannot buy a wireless keyboard by itself (you must buy it with a mouse) and you cannot buy the packages for less than $60. Its a decent replacement...does what I want it to do, but it would be better on the keyboard layout. I'm used to using the F keys for doing page reloads, etc, but now with this keyboard you have to hit the F lock key (much like turning on/off the caps) just so you can use the F keys correctly if you have them programmed to do specific tasks or otherwise use as they are intended for functionality within IE/Mozilla or other programs. Not to mention the insert key has been changed from its own stand alone button to being part of the F key process - not sure what bozo designer changed that, but they must not normally do cut/paste functions
