    Good entry level wireless keyboard

I have been using this keyboard and mouse for about a year now, so I have discovered all the pros and cons. Overall it is a nice product. The best part that I like about it is the curved design. It is “just ergonomic enough” to take strain off the hands and wrist, but the keys are not spaced out too far or separated like the official ergonimic keyboard, which I personally don’t like. The programmable quick launch buttons are a nice touch. You can even program the labled buttons as well – for example, I have the “Calculator” launch Quicken and the “Sleep” button just locks the computer. The mouse is your standard laser mouse. Hardcore gamers might not like it, but the average user will like it. The scroll button needs some work, though, and the settings don’t remedy the problem. You either scroll so slow that your finger is going a mile a minute or you move one “notch” and the whole screen flies up. The range is fine. The only complaint is that I find (with my unit) that the sensor needs to be on top of the desk, otherwise the keyboard does not work and the mouse has jagged movements. But I have it next to the monitor so it is not too obtrusive. The only bad thing – more of a personal thing, though– is the rearrangement of some of the keys. It took a few days to get used to the new locations. In addition, there is no lights for the caps lock, num lock, and scroll lock on the keyboard. They are on the sensor. There is also a little box that comes on the screen when you toggle. That takes even longer to get used to. Otherwise, this is a nice keyboard and mouse and it works well.

    The Best Keyboard+Mouse Around

Using this set for nearly a year, I can't speak well enough for this product. From the simple fact the keyboard is comfortable, to the point the mouse grips wonderfully, to the overall matter that it's wireless, and the point of all the quick links that exist on the keyboard itself. Fully customizable, the Microsoft software for both the keyboard and mouse work wonderfully, featuring some exclusive items that are truly rather cool (middle button on mouse can enable some window changer by default) and easy customization with each "favorite" button bringing up a window when you first press them to ask what you want it to open. Compared to the wireless Dell/Logitech keyboard+mouse set that originally came with this computer in 2003, it's extremely light and the batteries seem to last forever, never having changed the keyboard ones and possibly replacing the mouse batteries once after owning this set for one year. Highly recommended to anyone out there!

Honestly, this keyboard/mouse combination is quite a bundle. I thorough enjoy it as it can work for a laptop as well as a desktop pc. There is every kind of shortcut available to you which is great. As well, a lot of the shortcuts that 'alt+[letter]' work for are labeled right on the keys! That's great if you can't quite remember how to quickly cut and paste. The wireless mouse is also very versatile and functional and works from a good distance away from the base. The drawbacks of this system are few but profound: you have to plug in a usb keyboard/mouse receiver to your computer/laptop which can be frustrating. As well, it has to be located in a convenient place for the keyboard and mouse. Also, the keyboard has several buttons on it that seem excessive. I barely know how to assign them, let alone have the need to use them. They clutter up the keyboard and can be confusing. All in all, it's a great product if you can see past the clutter and bulkiness.

    Pricy but Solid

You can probably get a less expensive keyboard mouse combo, but I've had good experiences with the multiple wireless Microsoft mice I've bought(work laptop, home laptop). They are reliable, have a decent battery life and put up with a ton of use and abuse. The one issue that I keep having with this mouse is every now and then I get a message that the mouse signal is low (no problems with the keyboard). But I believe it is just interference from the other wireless mouse being used nearby.

I absolutely love this keyboard and mouse combination. They are easy to install and easy to setup the extra features on the keyboard. The pad on the keyboard helps cushion your wrist while giving you a soft surface to rest them on. I only have one small complaint and that is the distance between the devices and the sensor. Once you get more than 2 1/2 to 3 feet away it can't detect the device. This isn’t really a problem as long as you can position the sensor in a good spot on your desk.

Nice design, good software, volume and track control for media player. I think it is a little pricey so you might want to wait for it to go on sell.

The Favorites and shortcut buttons work great and it's really easy to change them. The keys are a little bit loud though.
