    Good, full featured wireless setup

I've tried different wireless desktop setups before from various manufacturers. I'm not crazy about the full on split, ergonomic designs that some keyboards have, but I really like the slight curve in this one. I find it's more comfortable for me to type on. The mouse is very responsive and, being a righty, I like the right handed design of it. The keyboard is packed with different hotkey/button features that are easy to take advantage of. Everything was easy to get setup in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The only complaint that I have is that sometimes the keyboard loses track of my typing, but this appears to have a lot to do with where you have the wireless tranceiver relative to the keyboard. With a little bit of testing out different positions for the tranceiver, I think I have a configuration that works well for me and is 100% reliable with the connection.

I have been using MS keyboard and mouse combos for several years now and I have always been a little frustrated that sometimes the first letter seems to be forgotten about. THANK YOU MS FOR ADDRESSING THIS PROBLEM!! Finally a MS setup that doesn't forget about the first letter typed. MS has always been pretty good on battery life, but this one doesn't gobble power as some of the other series combos have. It's sleek design looks good on my desk and the ergonomically friendly design produces less stress on my hands when I type reports or just mouse across the net. The price is the only sticking point. I am sure that by the time this combo reaches your local store that the price will come down to about $100., which I believe would be the fair market price for this excellent setup.

Worst keyboard I have ever owned - good mouse

This high price combo unit is difficult to use and after several months of trying to adjust, I simply give up. It is very hard to position onto the home keys and type with any accuracy and speed. The mouse however is very nice, and very ergonomic and comfortable to use. I was very disappointed in the performance in terms of accuracy of what I would consider normal keying and moving from a laptop keyboard to this one is very challenging. The OEM keyboards are ok, and I upgraded to wireless to improve the speed of keying, but this is not the right solution for me at least.

The keyboard is nice to use and feels very comfortable. So far have not been able to get the manul to print to use all the functions. Keyboard is not rechargeable.

    Charging issues

Have had a major issue with recharging the mouse battery on the included charging base. It seems that if the battery gets too low, the base won't recharge the battery at all.
