2 years of use and I'm currently using it now. I always forget to turn it off and it still only needs battery replacement a couple times a year. I end up using batteries that are just laying around anyway and they last. Nice little work horse of a mouse and comfortable for the occasional point and click. This would not work very well as a gaming mouse, unless you are desperate.

This is a 2.4GHz wireless (not Bluetooth) mouse with a USB dongle. Ideal for laptop (with available USB port). Range is about 10-15 feet. One AA battery should power it for about 10-12 months (if you turn it off when not in use). Does exactly what it's supposed to do without a lot of drama!

I own another MS4000 optical mouse and have been very happy with it, so purchased a second for my Chromebook. Uses only 1 AA battery, has storage compartment with nano transceiver and on/off switch with battery indicator. Operates extremely well, smooth scrolling, good DPI specs and nice battery life. These have become quite scarce and somewhat pricey without design/color choices as in the past, but the price on this one was very reasonable. Highly recommend if you're not too choosy about style/design.

Something had gone awry with the cursor on a laptop I purchased a couple of months ago. I figured it was something with the cursor pad, so thought a mouse would be an easy fix. It was and made the pad work right again too. But it is so easy to use, now I just go back and forth between the mouse and the laptop pad. The price was just right too!

This my favorite mouse. It’s not a full size, heavy unit, nor is it one of those tiny little things that is way too small for my hand. I’ve used this for years and will keep using it until they no longer make them. It’s very responsive and quick. I need a mouse with a 3rd button, this one has it, the wheel works great and can be used as another button if needed. Can’t go wrong.

This is simply the only mouse you should get or need. It's not 'small' or 'mini' like many of the other mice on the market. The battery life is really long. I've had at least 5 of these bought by friends and family based on my suggestion. It's a must have if you have a laptop and don't like being forced to use the trackpad. I'm buying this to replace my previous mouse after I accidently destroyed the USB receiver. Ordered immediately after realizing it was no longer going to work.

Does seem to last for a few years. Only need to reset once in awhile when the cursor freezes in the MS browser.

I finally bought a wireless mouse because I was tired of fighting with the cable on the mouse that came with the computer. Tried a couple of cheapies that I got at the drug store first. I liked them a lot so decided to get something a little more substantial for daily work at my desktop computer. I have been pleasantly surprised with its ease of use and plug-in-and-go "setup" - even the fact that its two-button operation, pretty much foreign to me before I bought it, was pretty straightforward.

I bought this first from Amazon for office use and I was so happy with it that after about a year bought another from best buy for home use. For smaller purchases I prefer best buy over amazon and other online retailer for the convenience of just walk up and return if that is necessary. Anyway, here is what I think of this product. Functionality: Other than bare minimum it has an extra button on the left side to be used with thumb. You can configure this in many applications for different functions. The scroll wheel is continuous and it takes a little while to get used to it. Other step by step scroll is easier to begin with but I prefer the smooth one. The pointer is precise, not as much as some of the gaming mouse, but perfectly fine for office or casual home use. Ergonomics: I have a medium sized hand, and this fits perfectly. Even after hours of heavy duty use that involves a lot of photo editing I have never felt fatigue or pain in my palm, the fact that it is lightweight really helps. There is another button on the left side which I don't use very often. The scroll wheel is precise and offers good resistance to avoid accidental scroll. The two sides have rubber grips that give you a soft and pleasing feel to hold the mouse. Battery Life: I use the mouse about eight hours, five days a week at office and a duracell battery lasts about three months. Quite happy with the battery life. It is important to turn off the mouse after every use to have the best battery life. I seldom forget to do that; if I didn't I think I would have gotten even longer battery life. Duraibility: Finally, the first mouse I bought is now more than two years old and still works perfectly. Just don't throw it around and play catches and you will be fine.

Love this mouse. Use for virtual teaching. Mouse wheel moves side to side and up and down. Blue laser light, you don’t need a mouse pad. Battery seems to hold up good and I never turn mine off. It’s a medium size. Not tiny like most of them and not large.

I use this mouse on a computer that runs office type software as well as gaming. The size is perfect for my needs. I don't like the larger mouse options out there and the compact options are too small. This size is the perfect compromise. My only complaint is that I also use this computer for occasional gaming on-line and have found the scroll wheel to be overly sensitive to even the slightest touch. Other than that, it's great.

I use one for the office and one for the home (Apple Mac mini goes back and forth with me, running Windows on Bootcamp). STRENGTHS: 1. Alkaline batteries last for months (I never turn it off) 2. Comfortable. 3. Tracking: The Bluetrack tracking light does not get interrupted by dog hair or mouse pad dirt. I don't have to clean it, unlike my old Logitech Mouseman Optical's tracking light. WEAKNESSES: 1. I have occasional trouble with the strength of signal between the transmitter in the mouse and the USB receiver, causing the mouse to lag. 2. Scrolling: I use Windows full-screen scroll, but the mouse either goes through web pages too slow and Word documents too fast, so I usually end up using the scroll bars. 3. Separate USB dongles required for each mouse. It takes up 2 USB ports because I do not carry the mouse back and forth to work and home. The Logitech keyboard I use can handle multiple keyboards with the same USB dongle. 4. Do not lose the USB dongle. It is matched with the mouse and cannot be replaced. You will have to buy the combo again.
