I use this card because sometimes the system let you put your credit card on it but your kids can buy anything without your concern , so i decide to only use prepaid card and this is a better way to control your digital purchase.

Can't go wrong with these if you want to purchase digital games or content from xbox live, especially when they have holiday sales. Makes excellent gift for a video gamer also. Highly recommended.

I use gift cards as a reward when my son gets good grades. He likes it because he can use the card right away I like it because I don’t have to mess around with entering my card information ever time he wants to buy something.

Just go to the xbox store and redeem the code on the back of the card and you get the amount on xbox that you can spend on anything on the xbox store. You don't need to add a debit or credit card.

I usually use Microsoft currency as I don't like that they want your credit card and then automatically link it and try to auto charge with no true way of removing. This fits the bill so I never have to link my card.
