By a chance of events, I was able to get a refund onto store credit, and managed to spend the last of my refund on one of these cards. Pretty nice deal since store credit doesn’t work on third party gift cards, the only draw back is you have to go onto Microsoft.com and log in there to use the amount redeemed from the gift card. If you purchase straight from Xbox store on your Xbox, the amount won’t be applied and you’ll pay full price instead of a split purchase. Maybe that’s just me but now I know.

I personally buy these cards to keep from using my credit card online. For the last few years xbox has had my account listed under an old credit card which I haven't updated so this gives me a limit to spend without getting too crazy on purchases.

This $50 card is good for getting games on the xbox. However, if your game costs, 49.99 and you have tax on it, you will need to purchase an additional card to cover the tax. In my case, I got another $15 dollar card.

I bought these to add funds to my childrens accounts. Do NOT add credit cards to your Microsoft accounts, they are a pain to deal with when your child makes unauthorized purchases. If you have a family live account it is almost impossible to get the credit cards removed.

Great gift..buy this product and you will never go wrong. Im so glad that xbox sells this in smaller denominations. I usually buy this in hulk and give it away on Christmas or Birthdays.

With so much digital content available on the Xbox consoles, I love having the option of buying these cards and having a little money always on my account. Then I don;t have to worry about if my credit card is still valid or if I have the right one on file.

This was another awesome last minute Christmas gift that I purchased. My other nephew was thrilled to receive this. Again, the gentleman who worked the register that day made the experience that much better.
