My son loves it and I have to admit I love it to. I have own a PS3 since the week it came out in 2006 but it never kid friendly. Xbox 360 with Kinect is so easy to use and setup that with in 10 minutes of getting it home we were playing games. I don't like you have to pay to change your Gametag but hey I wanted my son to have a real name not the default name. I also have a 1 year old and look forward to watching him learn to play too. My 4 year old little boy can't get enough, we use it as a way to get him to do homework and keep his room clean. The 4gbs in not a lot of room for downloading a lot of stuff but you can add a USB Jump drive to add more space. I love that I can use USED games this is the main reason we didn't wait for the XBOX ONE. I feel that if you have young children like I do go with the XBOX 360 its cheaper and they don't care about the newest stuff they just want to play games. If you are a big time gamer of have older children that are you might want to wait for the XBOX ONE but we love this one. Its also a great media hub. I would tell you to get the XBOX LIVE its worth the extra money opens up a lot more of the fun.

    Kinect is Horrible!!

This Xbox Kinect was suppose to be a pleasure to play for my 7 and 5 year old but instead its going to become a dust collector. The XBox itself is great but when any game is played through the Kinect its frustrating for us. I evenhad my wife try to play thinking it as the kids size etc. but when your playing a game and its a constant reminder on screen that your not being recognized it gets boring and makes you not want to play. We did move around the sensor but the same garbage all over. When it does sence your there its so sensitive that you are more focused on the way your moving rather than enjoying the game. For example...on the game wipeout you have to take uncomfortable GIANT steps for you character to move on the screen. We do own the Nintendo Wii and let me tell you that the graphics might not ba as good as the XBox but the smoothness, enjoyability and the happy faces on my kids while playing make it a much better product than this garbage!!!

A couple years ago I purchased the Playstation 3 as my blue ray player went down. I still enjoy the Playstation 3 but my son begged me for an x-box. They both have features that are a little better than the other. I like the Kinect, I had the Move for Playstation and took it back. The games for x-box are slightly more mature than for a 9 yr old. I could say the same for Playstation but it seems to have more racing type games which are better suited for younger kids. The X-box extras such as apparel, minecraft cost microsoft points which my son keeps coming and asking for more cash. All in all both are a good choice and it's really up to the user and what you plan on doing with the unit, playing games, music, blue ray, social media etc.

    Xbox 360 for $99? Sold!

I bought this Xbox using the Microsoft deal where you sign a 2 year agreement for Xbox Live service for $14.99/month and in return you get the system for $99 + tax. Sounded like a no brainer to me, considering everything you want to do on the Xbox 360 requires an active Xbox Live account anyways. My only complaint about the whole deal are the games that are bundled with it. If you're in the market for a 360 and don't mind paying for the Xbox Live every month, then take advantage of the Microsoft deal! As far as the system goes, the 4GB of memory fills up fast if you are a hardcore gamer. For casual gamers like myself, using a 32GB USB flash drive was enough to hold me over until the price dropped on the 360 Slim Hard Drive.

I got this as a Christmas present. I was able to play Call of Duty Black Ops II and the two games that came with the Xbox, but when I bought Halo 4, I couldn't play online. I needed memory space to download the game. I found out you also need memory space for updates. 4GB is really not enough at all! They shoudn't even make a 4GB. I had to get a hard drive made for the xbox which was 320GB and came with a free download Star Wars lego game. I was happy with the price Best Buy gave it to me for because it would've been the same if I exchanged the Xbox for the 250GB console. In this case, I got more GB for my money!

I am enjoying my new system, but am not a gamer, so don't expect any gaming specs on this review. Setup was easy & I was ready to start using the system in minutes. I wanted this for the workout (Nike workout) and I must say that I am pretty pleased with the sensor and voice command/control. I do wish the Kinect camera would actually. Show me in the games instead of a blue blur. The price is also a bit much, but all the gaming systems are around the same price, I think, so there's no point complaining.

I really love the graphics, but the Kinect is kinda a let down. The voice commands on the Kinect work beautifully, which is mainly what I end up using my Kinect for now, but it really needs too much room for my home (I live in a row home in Philadelphia, my rooms measure about 15x15, so the Kinect goes crazy and tells me I'm not far enough back unless I clear absolutely all furniture from behind me then practically have no room to move). My husband loves the games though, so overall, a good buy.

I bought this XBOX on the Entertainment for all program. Paid 99.00 for the unit. I use it strictly for streaming movies / TV shows. I realize it is not Microsoft's fault / problem. However I was disappointed with lack of apps for ShoTime, MAX, and so on. The Kinect works great for what I do. Obviously 4GB storage is not much, so it fills up quickly, even with just apps only and no games. Thumb drive solves that problem for me, however I wouldn't suggest this model for a gamer.

The main thing that made me mad first was the absolute garbage range for the systems WiFi, when every other kind of my devices picked up my WiFi perfectly fine in the same spot. Then, needing to purchase an Xbox Gold Membership just to reach the apps like Netflix and such turned me off. Pay ISP, Pay Xbox, THEN i pay for netflix? No thanks. At least the PS3 network is free, which is the network and system i now know i prefer 10 fold compared to the xbox.

We purchased this for in home workouts and fun during inclement weather. Dancing games, Nike+Kinect, it is great to workout and have fun without holding a device or strapping on bands. If you have not used motion sensors before there may be a learning curve. The graphics are up to date even though the console has been on the market for so long. I would recommend this to friends and family.

my 14 years old boy is in love with it, the best part is playing with his friends and chatting at the same time using the headset; he's getting a lot of fun doing this! the worst part is that you need to buy a membership in order to have this functionality. it's not much but still you have to buy it. and if you buy the one that has only 4 GB, you'll need more to buy in a future (like USB)

I love being able to move around doing a video game and not have to use the remote. The kinnect is such a cool invention. The Disneyland game seemed boring at first until we figured it out, our kids love it. We went to Disneyland a few months ago and it helps them remember our trip there. The Adventures game is our favorite!!! So many fun things and you really get a workout!

Overall it is a very good system with excellent graphics and a large selection of games to choose from. The Kinect is fun but does not respond very well. I find the Kinect slow and does not respond accurately to people's motions. Most Xbox games no longer come with instructions and the instructions online are very vague. Most multiplayer games can only be used on Xbox live.

I bought the Xbox360 with Kinect during the 2011 Thanks Giving Sale for $199.99. Did I really need it? Was/am I a gamer? No! But I did/do play Xbox360 because I bought it! I had the confusion over the PS3 and Xbox360 but decided to go in for the Xbox just for the fact that it had Kinect. PS3's Bluray player was it's advantage but lack of Kinect was a deal breaker!

This Xbox 360 is completely different than the one I purchased when it first was released. The use of HDMI and the Kinect are huge upgrades. The only thing I didn't care for is the 4GB hard drive that came installed in the machine with the Kinect. I wish they had a bigger one so one did not have to go out and purchase an external one rite off the bat.

I bought this system after my original Xbox 360 developed the Red Ring Of Death. This system seems more stream-lined than the previous model and a whole lot quieter. Also, with the ability to pick up a large amount of titles for this system, with the possibility of prices dropping due to upcoming release of the Xbox 720 (?), this was a great buy.

I didnt think I would ever play the 2 games that came in this bundle. I was wrong - they are a lot of fun. The Kinect takes some getting used to. Once we got the hang of it we really enjoyed playing. It was a little frustrating at first and many times we had to use the controller to start our game instead of our hand with the Kinect.

I did a lot of research to find a workout program that would be easy to use and not require a lot of "gadgets." I talked to a lot of different people and read a lot. My choices were between the XBox and the Wii. Most people told me to go with the XBox. When this came out as a daily deal, I knew I had to get it. So far, so good.

I like the Xbox, but the rings it puts on video games needs to improve, and so does the tray functionality. I have the white Xbox 360 with the hard drive, and the black Xbox 360 slim. Both consoles have tray issues. I have had four different white ones in the past that all had tray malfunctions.

We chose the Kinect system over another brand hoping that it would be easier to use for our daughter with a mild disability. She loves it and can operate the entire system by herself! It was a good choice for her and the whole family as we don't need different accessories to play different games, just your body!
