    Great Upgrade From Previous Console

My original XBOX 360 was beginning to wear down and after doing my research I felt I would be better off getting a new XBOX 360 instead of upgrading to one of the next generation consoles. I still plan to eventually upgrade to a XBOX ONE or PS4 but looking at the content available I feel I can put off purchasing one or both of them until Summer 2015 if not Christmas 2015. This XBOX 360 is a smaller, more modern looking model then the one it is replacing. The hard drive is massive at 500gb, and with more games and add-ons it is more important then ever. I haven't purchased a "physical" copy of a game in over a year. The Xbox Marketplace has weekly deals and if you are patient you can get every game you want at a pretty hefty discount. It is also faster then previous models. I had to download several games that I purchased digitally and it was easily twice as fast, if not more so. This package comes with two Call of Duty games, one on a disc and on a digital download, both games are still very popular and have an active online community. Game consoles are no longer just about gaming, it is also increasingly used for apps like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and more. I recently upgraded my television and along with it my dvd player to a "smart" blu-ray player and I find I prefer the XBOX 360 over the "smart" blu-ray player to watch Netflix and Hulu. It is just a little more responsive, less lag and loading time. The menu's are identical as far as I can tell. One thing I found a little odd was it only came with a yellow video cable, that's right, the same cable you connected your original Nintendo to your television is whats included in this package. HDMI sold separately. I picked up a two pack of cables from an online site that will remain nameless. Overall I am very happy with this product and wish I had upgraded sooner.

    Great Xbox 360 Bundle

This holiday bundle is actually my third xbox 360 and probably the best one I owned. My original 360 was an old fat elite and my second one was a slim. The E seems to be better at heat management. Both my old elite and slim had overheating problems. After my second xbox failed, I decided to upgrade to an Xbox One. The One is really cool, but most of my friends on xbox live are still using the 360 and I have a huge collection of games I did not have a chance to complete before upgrading. When I heard about this holiday bundle with a 500 GB hard drive and Call of Duty games, I quickly decided to get another 360 and to join my friends back on the 360. The included Call of Duty games are really entertaining and I can't believe Microsoft is including them in the bundle for free. The games still run $35-40 each in the store. I would totally recommend this bundle to Xbox diehards who are looking for a replacement console or cheap way to play a huge library games before upgrading to the One. The One right now only has a few games, the 360 has hundreds of games and many are under $10 each.

    Known issues that Microsoft ignores

Be careful with any Xbox 360. I got burnt twice. Go to the Xbox page and you will see in the forums that the Hard Drives tend to die when applying the mandatory software updates. Microsoft doesn't offer help and thousands of people just go to the forums to try to get help, only to see that nobody answers their questions. When I contacted them, they asked me to send my Xbox at a cost of $100. It takes them about a month to fix it, and it breaks again in 6 months (warranty on the repairs only 3 months). No matter what you try to say or do they will not help you. They'll just send you around and around and everybody will claim they have no power to help you. You just need to pay again, and send your console for another repair at another $100. I have paid twice, now I just want to get ride of it. I have over $800 worth of games and accessories for sale. I am trying something that is not Microsoft. Something that if it breaks, they are willing to own up and share on the cost of fixing it, not just profiting from it.

I have had an Xbox 360 since the initial release date and that one unfortunately has the red ring of death. Having a large investment in Xbox 360 games, and the fact that my kids love to play, prompted me to buy a replacement Xbox 360. I really enjoy having HDMI and Wifi built in as the older models did not have that option. The only concern I have is heat building around the Xbox 360 that could potentially cause the system to lockup or fail. My old system had capacitors that had burst and that is either due to faulty capacitors or too much heat over an extended period of time. I do not want my new purchase to have the same fate as my old Xbox. So far it's been great. I enjoy being able to download games and I am happy with the model I chose.

This is my second XBox360, my first being the Slim. This Elite version is similar but has several differences. The first noticeable thing is the On/Off button is smaller and I didn't find it at first. The second thing is that the disk eject button is right above the On/Off button and hard to see if it is sitting on the floor. You can actually turn off the system by accident hitting the On/Off button trying to find the eject button. Other than that there are only two USB connectors. On the positive the set-up is fast and easy. The free game download does take a very long time, but completed in an hour or two. Works great!

    GREAT Xbox 360 package

This was the best deal I was able to find on the internet. I even went into a local Best Buy to price the games given free with this deal and found them priced at $40 each. I am new to gaming and find that many of the Xbox 360 games in stores like Best Buy and Target are under $20. You can not beat a deal like this if you want to try to be a gamer at a reasonable cost. The large hard drive allows you to play any Xbox 360 games.

Great xbox machine with a huge hard drive...what more could you ask for! I have owned 3 other xbox's in the past and have sold them over the recent 3 years and made the decision to buy the 500GB bundle and have some gaming fun again! This is a great deal for the price, highly recommend this machine to anyone wanting a lot of storage and great graphics! It would cost almost 500 dollars to purchase everything seperatly. if you want a new xbox 360, this is the way to go.

Setting up xbox live account and registering system was a pain in the rump. I'm guessing that microsoft getting hacked a lot has everything to do with it. Had to disable double authentication because it would take too long to receive pin via email or text. Other than that its a great console, quality is excellent and the included games are high quality and fun to play. Would recommend buying extra controller.

That's how they get you, lack of backward compatibility with xbox live on Xbox one, and it seems the 360 is still the dominant games counsol in my household. We now have two 360's for single player games for multiple network play and the xbox one, which they got a year ago...according to my kids this a good thing...so until all their friends jump on the Xbox one band wagon, the 360's are working overtime.

My brother took our previous 360 with him to college, so I waited until a sale and decided to pick up another one. I am a fan of the new looks and size of this model 360. If you own the previous model, there is no need to upgrade as the internals are the same, but if in the market for a nice simple gaming console that can still play most games, and don't want an Xbox One, the 360 is still a great option!

Wanted to get an xbox 360 to replace one that suffered water damage. Unfortunately the only one that was available a few days before Xmas was one that came with a Call of Duty game and a Call of Duty download. This Game is completely inappropriate for my 10 year old grandson and I will hold them back from him until he is 17. It's too bad that there's no provision for a trade for an age-appropriate game.

Easy set up! Had it up and running in minutes. 12 year old knew just what to do, while I watched in amazement. Best feature? It has a parental /kid play time, which, when used, means no arguing when time to get off the games. It just shuts off :))))) I would advise all parents to learn how to use this function..

I bought this package for my husband for Christmas last year. I got a great deal on it, so couldn't pass it up. He never puts himself before his family, but has been wanting a new gaming system for a while. He certainly deserved it, and much more. After 8 months, we've had no issues and he thoroughly enjoys his game time. Now I just need to expand his game collection. Any suggestions?

This game system is exactly what I expected from playing on it with my friends. I got it after the Xbox one came out because some friends gave me a bunch of their games and it was cheaper than the Xbox one. I also have an original Xbox so I don't mind older game systems. The pack was nice for starting out but I would recommend a port charger for your controllers.

I thoroughly researched the 360 before purchase and this by far was the best deal. The largest available hard drive (500GB) and 2 free games. The Black Ops 2 is a Digital Download but with such a large Hard Drive it shouldn't matter. Also I bought a charger + cord for the controller.

I bought it as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves the Xbox 360. She considers the xbox 360 to be one of the best systems ever produced and and sold on the market. And she is NOT HAPPY that Halo 5 was created for the Xbox one considering all the bad reviews the Xbox one has received. We need to make noise for Halo 5 to be grandfathered into the xbox 360.

You're wondering why I just didn't get the newer Xbox one? Because my tons of Xbox games won't play in the new system. Since I refuse to see good money (and good games) go to waste, I got a new 360 to replace the old one I had (that sounded like it would explode at any second). Mission: accomplished.

After I played left 4 dead 2 on my Xbox 360 it locked up on me twice on the last level of left 4 dead 2. I was expecting this to happen because Microsoft in my opinion cuts corners. Poorly designed, and the constant freezing. I should have gotten a ps4 instead of the Xbox 360
