    1. Above review that gave the system a 1 is completely incorrect. Specs are exact same as a standard Xbox Kinect Bundle(250GB version), PLUS 70GB more Memory and Also comes with BOTH Kinect Star Wars and Kinect Adventures. Only thing missing is a 1 month gold subscription. You can get a year for only $40 additional, which is a sweet deal. Basically you are getting 70GB of memory and an addition Game for $50. Plus a sweet paint job. 2. Firmware is exactly the same as a regular xbox 360, which accounts for the 3 in functionality. I was hoping for a limited edition theme (only available with the console) and additional R2-D2 sounds when moving through menues. Unfortunately neither are provided. The R2-D2 sound effects when Powered on and tray is opened are cool, but will most likely just become background noise as time passes. 3. Case and C3P0 controller look awesome. And the white kinect sensor adds some pop. 4. The Kinect Star Wars game is an interesting addition, and fun in its own way. I am an avid Star Wars and science fiction fan but did not have high hopes for this game. I can say that I have enjoyed it however, and running around as a rancor is awesome. Also the dancing game is hilarious. The current limitations of motion sensing technology take away from the fun of the game at times, but that is something that seems to be universal to motion sensing games. Loading times seem a little long as well. As long as you don't expect a life changing experience, you wont be disappointed. It is definitely amusing. 5. Overall, I'm glad i bought this. If you are looking for an upgrade (I had the Halo 3 Xbox) or buying an Xbox for the first time, I definitely recommend this. The value is there.

We upgraded a 20 GB Xbox 360 (which moved to another TV) with this in order to get the following features: 1. Newer console hardware version (we had the red ring of death on the previous hardware and had to get it replaced previously.) 2. Built in wi-fi (had the wi-fi dongle...I mean adapter...on the previous Xbox 360) 3. Kinect included in the package 4. Significantly more disk space (320 GB v. 20 GB previously) 5. Bundle includes the Kinect Star Wars game 6. The Star Wars theme is appealing to my wife--who was 4 when the original movies came out and remembers going to the first one with her since deceased dad--and my youngest son. The R2-D2-skinned console and the C3PO-themed controller were quite satisfying to both. The controller had wires on the black, bottom half that the youngest noted. Bonuses once we opened the box (yesterday) and set it up: 1. Somewhat smaller than the Xbox 360 it replaced. 2. Much quieter than the previous system. 3. The R2-D2 sounds when turning the console on and off via the front panel power switch are that special touch that makes the difference. One note: the Kinect calibration card is inside the Kinect Adventures game in case you're looking for it. Don't give it away or throw it away as you might need to re-calibrate occasionally and especially if you move to a new room. I recommend going through a full Kinect-menu and audio configuration with the smallest person in the family before attempting to play Kinect Star Wars. My youngest son--who came home from school with a 102 F fever--got to break the family rules on touching electronics while sick because he could play via the Kinect without touching the controller (once I got it turned on.) So he went to bed happy after playing for a while.

Well... since at its core it is just another xbox I'm not going to touch on the xbox portion very much in this review. I'm going to focus more on the design and what makes this xbox stand out from standard xboxes. What makes this xbox stand out is the Star Wars design on both the console and controller. They are based off the lovable droids that stormtroopers aren't looking for, R2D2 and C3PO. I am a big R2 fan and I have to say that I LOVE the console. The little details from the color scheme and blue ring of lights around the power button... the sound effects when you power it on and eject the disk drawer... all the way down to the "Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!" written on the lip of the disk tray. The C3PO controller is pretty cool, but I'm not as excited about the controller. It's essentially a metallic gold controller with the faux wires on the bottom that look like the wires that are visible on 3PO's lower abdomen. Anyone who hates their tech toys getting covered in fingerprints are going to despise the metallic coloring on this controller. It is a fingerprint magnet. This bundle also came with both Kinect Star Wars and the standard Kinect Adventures that comes with the Xbox bundles that include a Kinect sensor. I can't really say much about Kinect Star Wars because I've only played a very small bit of the beginning of the game, but from what I played I had a good time using my force powers to throw around droids. Overall I love this console. The moment I saw the R2D2-themed console I knew I had to have it, and I'm not disappointed with it at all. If you're a big R2/Star Wars fan and looking to replace an aging Xbox console... this one is a must.

Great XBox, some things to note though

The Star Wars XBox is one beautiful xbox. This is my second xbox, the first was still running strong. The design is very nice and smooth looking. The R2D2 sound FX are cool, but I wish it would've had a sound whenever you power on the XBOX from the controller, not just the power/eject button. The c3po controller is really nice looking as well as functional. Despite the fact that the finish is chrome based, it still has the same style of grip compared to a regular controller. The Transforming D pad does nothing for me as I don't really play fighting games, but it is cool to mess with :) The Kinect system is fun, but if you've never owned a kinect before, make sure you have enough room in your play area. A Minimum of 7 feet was needed in my experience. The voice commands are stellar and make Netflix watching that much more enjoyable. The Star Wars Kinect game is fun but definitely geared more towards kids. My biggest complaint about the Star Wars XBox is that the C3PO, while being a wireless controller, did NOT come with a wireless battery, but with a shell for AA's. For all the money I paid, I figured they'd at least give me a true wireless controller. Compared to the original xbox, the new xbox is amazingly quiet. Doesn't seem to generate that much heat, and you can barely hear the disc spin when standing upright. All in all, a great purchase!

This is my first X-Box 360. I've been using my PS3 as my all-in-one entertainment center, and it does the job admirably. However, I've been wanting to play Halo, and I've told myself for a long time if the time & price is right, I'd consider getting an X-Box 360. Well, the Star Wars themed unit piqued my interest and I was delighted to learn it has the largest hard-drive space of any of the 360s out there. That justified the purchase enough for me, so I went ahead and got it. Now, if you have an X-Box 360 already, the price may be steep to get another simply for the novelty of a box that has an R2-D2 color scheme and makes authentic-sounding blips and bleeps when you turn it on/off or open & close the disc tray. However, if you're in need of a box, this is the one to get. As a gaming device, the graphics look great in HD and the C-3P0 themed controller is responsive and comfortable. I dare say it handles slightly better than the PS3. I can now say that I'm format agnostic. If a game is offered on both consoles, I'd just assume have it on one as I would the other (the PS3's advantage being that the games are on Blu-ray discs, which are darn near indestructible.) As a gaming unit, I couldn't be happier with the X-Box 360, and the Star Wars themed unit with the Star Wars Kinect bundle was just the icing on the proverbial cake to win me over.

This is a super fun gaming console. Firstly the increased 320G hard drive and the controller alone makes this bundle worth it. The cool looking star wars themed console, the unique white colored Kinect and the R2-D2 noise the console makes when you turn on are all nice touches. The Xbox Kinect is a big upgrade from the Wii we have had for a while. The Kinect works surprisingly well. There is a slight bit of lag but the Kinect games that we have tried are designed to mask it. When a new player that has never setup a profile or anything, wants to join the fun and play a Kinect game, the Kinect calibrates quickly for that new player and the player is ready to play in a matter of seconds - this part is much better than what I was expecting. The graphics are very good but could be better but that may come only in the next gen Xbox. The price gets up there quickly with Kinect (400) plus the cost for the live subscription before even you get any other games to start playing. One thing that's a bit annoying is the dependency on the physical disks for many of the games. They should come up with a way to provide an option to copy the game from the disk to the hard drive (through some authentication mechanism to avoid piracy) and free us from disks. Browsing through your games and pick one at your will without having to find your disk and inserting it in, is a great convenient feature. This works for many games that you can download using Xbox live but not all. Even the star wars game that came in the bundle needs the disk to be present for you to play it. But all things considered, so far we are very happy with our purchase.

The Star Wars Xbox 360 and Kinect bundle is perfect for any big Star Wars fan (like myself). I think it is a must for any fan who is still rockin the older model Xbox 360. I was still using my original 360 that I bought at midnight when they were first released (2005 I believe?). I have thought about upgrading several times to the Gears of War or Halo editions, but never did. On top of this, I did not have a kinect. I knew this was the time to upgrade when I saw a Star Wars model. I am not sorry that I did. The unit looks great. Very nicely decorated and top notch presentation. The R2-D2 sounds when you turn the system on and off and open or close the tray are one of my favorite features. The only downside of the entire package for me is that it only makes the sounds when you hit the buttons by hand, not when you use the controller to turn it on and off. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say. The C3PO controller is great and was very well done. The white kinect is a nice touch to bring the whole package together. As I said, if you have been waiting to upgrade your system, this is the time to do so with the Star Wars bundle. If you already have the newer model 360 with a kinect, then this may not be for you, unless you are a Star Wars fan. I was worried about dropping this kind of money since I already had a functioning Xbox 360, even though it was the original one from launch. I have no regrets after getting it.

I went back and forth for a month about getting this console. I grew up on Star Wars and on video games so this was a win win. This is my 2nd Xbox (other is a Xbox 360 Elite 120 HD). I decided to get this because of the design and increase HD space. So far I am loving it. It is a lot quieter than my other xbox. If you press the power button or eject button on the console it makes cool R2D2 sounds (doesn't do it using the controller). I had been pondering about getting it for so long and finally decided to buy it. On the day I went to Best Buy to get it I was unaware that it was coincidentally the day they dropped the price from $449.99 to $399.99 (added bonus). I think by the time you add up the price of all items if purchased separately (console $199, the 320GB HD $129.99, Star Wars Kinect game $49.99, Kinect $149.99), not to mention the cool limited edition design and Gold CP30 controller, it becomes obvious how great a deal this is. If you want a great Xbox with plenty of HD storage and are a fan of Star Wars movies this console is a must.

    A Star Wars Fan's X-Box!

If you are a diehard Star Wars fan, this X-Box 360 console is for you! The R2D2 design is AWESOME, not to mention the sound effects the unit makes when you turn it on or off (manually, that is) and when the tray opens & closes. The 320GB HD & Kinect included make this a real value @ the $399 price-point. I have as of yet to hook up the Kinect due to my not having the room at the moment to take full advantage of its capabilities, so I cannot give an honest opinion on that part of the bundle. The C-3P0-designed controller from an artistic standpoint is very complimentary to the console. However when one holds an object (in this case said controller) in the hands that has a mirror finish for a period of time, the oils the hands secrete are easily seen upon it. This is why my C-3P0 controller will be a display piece only. Aside from the controller design though, this is an outstanding product that I will enjoy for years to come! I would love to thank Microsoft & Lucasfilm, Ltd. for making this possible!

This system comes with a customized shelled R2D2 XBox 360s core system with specialized sounds. The controller is a custom skin designed 360 controller with the improved d-pad. It comes with the standard Kinect (White) set up and the Kinect Adventures game, it also comes with the Kinect Star Wars game. Considering at the time of this post that the normal 250GB Kinect bundle is $50 less but also comes with one less game, a game that costs right around $50 it is a worthwhile upgrade for Kinect and Star Wars fans, yes it doesn't have the 1 Month Gold subscription, but it does come with a Xbox LIVE token card and the extra 70GB of drive space, more than makes up for the loss of the 1 Month Gold subscription which many people who would be interested in this system probably won't need anyway.

We replaced our Wii with the Xbox. I decided to go with the Star Wars version as it seems the best value for the money. Larger Hard Drive, Kinect, Wireless controller, wired headset and a $50 game. Added on an Energizer charge station and a second controller and we are golden. Love the Star Wars sound effects. My original gripe was that you have to pay for Live to get maximum functionality. After using it for awhile I understand that the minimal monthly fee is allowing Microsoft to provide new and better content and will continue to do so. My current gripe is that a number of the apps that I really want will not work where I live or that you need to purchase a second subscription. For example Xfinity. We don't have Comcast where I live and that is the only reason I can figure out why it does not work. It would be a GREAT upgrade on Microsoft's part if the Xbox would ONLY show you apps that will work in your zip code.

I just went this morning and bought this bundle in store for my 8-year-old son. He is a SERIOUS gamer. I did a lot of research before hand. The regular 250GB xbox with Kinect is $399 at most places. This includes the console, Kinect accessory, one contoller and some stupid game. THIS bundle includes 320GB, Kinect accessory, one wireless controller, Head set, Star Wars Game (retail $49.99), Xbox Adventures and it is super cool. We are done. We will not have to upgrade hard drives ever! There is enough space to store all the games so you can save from where you left off (4GB can't do that with Kinect because the Kinect sensor takes up almost that much space), and stream movies! The controller is awesome and the console makes these cool R2-D2 sounds. My son is not a Star Wars fan but he is flipping out over it. It is all together the best buy if you want the Kinect Sensor system with your xbox. I recommend the 2 year warranty at Best Buy because of dreaded "Ring of Fire" that Microsoft obviously plans on happening to these to make more money.

My first Xbox 360 died on me so I opted to buy one of these to replace it. Love the Star Wars design and sound effects! The bigger hard drive is a nice upgrade from my old Xbox. It's nice to just be able to install everything I play frequently to improve load times. This unit is also considerably quieter than my old Xbox 360 which sounded like a jet taxiing for takeoff. Only negative is Kinect was quite a letdown. I expected very little from it to begin with, writing it off as little more than a gimmick. It was really no worse than I anticipated, but I harbored some hope I was wrong and it would dazzle me. No such luck, but maybe some future Kinect game will impress me. Over all, quite happy with this. Sad that my first Xbox 360 died four years in necessitating buying this one, but that's a mark against the old system, not the new one. Hopefully this one will last till the next generation consoles are out.

I have to admit- I was skeptical on purchasing the Xbox console since I am a Playstation guy all the way. However, I primarily bought Xbox for it's Kinect technology and future advantages/potential in revolutionizing the gaming industry. I am not a huge Star Wars fan but definitely a fan of the design, sounds of the console and worth the extra dollars spent. Not to sound hypercritical but the price could be better especially since console prices are dropping lately. I have yet to play any non-kinect games nor use the controller frequently but it isn't as bad I thought in comparison to the PS controller. The Kinect is virtually awesome and fun for all ages and groups of friends for a night in. The potential is vast and I swear- someone should station the Kinect/Xbox system in Arcades rather than DDR. Although I will probably still use my PS3 more, I would never thought I would end up on the "Dark Side"...no regrets here with my first Xbox!

Having the built in wi-fi adapter, 320Gb HDD, and the R2-D2 noises are great. Getting the Kinect and 2 games makes this a nice deal to the naked eye. The problem with the system that I was unaware of is that they used the lowest grade disc drives that they were supposed to have weeded out long ago. It is a common thing they do with special editions I'm finding out. You are getting a good deal because you are getting a inferior xbox. As long as you burn the games to the hard drive or only play downloaded games it should never be a problem. Is it enough of a reason for me to take it back? No. If you really want the gold controller and the R2-D2 noises then go for it but if you can go either way then google "Jasper drive 360's" and try to get one of those.

I love this special xbox. It makes custom R2D2 Sounds for the disc tray and power button (sounds only work when done manually not with controller.) The chrome gold controller representing C3PO is really cool and its exclusive to the bundle. I also like the white kinect sensor because its a special edition color. I say kinect adventures is bad because its with EVERY kinect bundle. From just the kinect sensor to console bundles. Its only worth about 99 cents to 3 dollars now. Microsoft needs to replace it with a different game because every has it or can get it really cheap if wanted.

I just got it yesterday for my brother, and he LOVES it. I wont know for sure if there is any bugs which there might be just because it is new. Its very easy to set up I even set it up at 11 at night while my brother was asleep. The only thing is when you see 320GB I think wow I can get a hard drive and he will have 640GB but sadly no that cant happen because the hard drive that comes with it is already in it. But other then that it is very awesome and I love the noises it makes

First of all I must admit I am not a constant gamer, but I am a Star Wars nerd. That being said, I love my new Star Wars Limited Edition XBox 360! How can you go wrong with an XBox that looks like R2-D2 and makes R2-D2 sounds when the power or eject buttons are pressed? The only down side is the amount of space needed to play any of the Kinect games. At the moment I don't have the room to play the games that it came with (Kinect Adventures and the new Star Wars Kinect game), but that is not a system issue.

After researching the reviews of both the 360 and play station 3, I simply couldn't decide because there were things that each gaming station had that the other didn't that I wanted. I then came across the Star Wars bundle and decided because of all the included accessories and the deal I got, I made the purchase. I haven't played on it much but I am very pleased with the system so far. Graphics are good and so is the sound. I love the shiny C3PO gold remote (I also bought the shiny silver one in honor of R2D2.

So, after much debate, I finally decided to buy a console other than my wii (NO GOOD GAMES!! grr!). Went back and forth between the PS3 and the Xbox 360, SOOO GLAD I PICKED THE XBOX. I'm having a blast! Not to mention the awesome R2D2 paintjob, C3P0 controller, Star Wars Kinect (which is actually a lot of fun. My friends and I have been playing non stop the past couple days... LOVE the rancor bit, and dancing for Jabba the Hutt is hilarious, and the podraces are fun!! ) A good deal, if you don't already own one.
