    A must for online gaming

If you are going to do any online gaming you have to have a hard drive. The 20 GB drive has lasted me now for two years and I still haven't filled it. I also share the hard drive with another person. If you are looking to download and keep a lot of demos, movies, and music I would suggest buying the 120 GB. As the 20 GB does fill up fast if you are into these types of media use for the Xbox 360. Users that are just strictly going to game will find the 20 GB more than enough space for their needs. Every Xbox 360 comes with a silver membership to Xbox live which lets you download demos, so you should really get a hard drive so that you can do this. Never had any problems with it, and it's great that it's external. Rather than taking my entire Xbox to my friends house I can just take the hard drive, and plug it into his machine. Great product and you can't play online without one.

i bought this a few weeks ago because i have the core system and i didn't want to spend $180 for the 120g. the 20g works great as any hard drive 20 or 120 is a must for any gamer. the only thing i don't like is that it only has 13.4g of actuall space on it and with all of the pre-loaded content there is only 9g. it can get filled up quickly if you download alot of content from xbox marketplace and things like that. so if your still trying to decide which one to buy i would go with the 120g because you have all the space you would ever need, and it is worth the extra $80, which is what i should have done when i bought mine.

    Good Purchase for Xbox 360

This is an excellent buy for those who did not purchase a console with a hard drive, letting you save game progress, listen to saved music during games, and even set-up play lists. If you like to listen to every song ever made, the larger hard drive is for you. This is the option for those who didn't shell out the cash when they bought their console, but now want a hard drive. Money is the only con.

If you're not going to be playing Xbox Live, then you don't need it. But if you are GET IT!!! Beacause with game updates and packages, your game section is going to fill up fast!!! Right now mine is at 2.3GB. A really bad thing i found with the hard drive is that it doesn't have 20GB of memory, its more like 12GB. But it hasn't been a problem for me yet!!!

    Hard Drive a Must Have

I don't see how anyone could have an xbox without a hard drive. So far I have found that the 20gb hard drive is enough for me (although it's more like 11 or 12gb) and probably for most people, but as the xbox gets older and you have more games you may want to invest in the 120gb hard drive. Which ever one you choose you'll be glad you bought it.

I bought this because I have the core system and it definitely has more capabilities than the memory unit. Now I can download game demos and videos with no worry of having to delete something or not having enough space to store it after I already downloaded it.
